Lots of stuff including furniture at garage sale prices. I always find some kind of treasure. Glassware, lamps, kitchen and craft items, tools etc.

Thank you Kathryn Richart for your fantastic review about the mask. We will make this thrift store our favorite because we ONLY love the places that aren’t full of sheep. Ty

Stopped by the thrift store today while wearing a mask. Almost all in there were not wearing masks including the employees. Won't be shopping there again until changes are made.

We recently had to move all of the contents of our home into a storage facility. We contacted the owner, Buck, and he gave us a very competitive quote. On the day of the move, the team of Jim, Bill and Steve showed up right on time and from start to finish did an amazing, professional job with every aspect of the move. We highly recommend them if you need honest, hard working, reliable movers in the greater Bradenton/Sarasota/Venice area. Laurie & Craig

Family owned and operated. Hard-working employees, great prices, great selections, ever-changing merchandise.

Been here many times over the last couple of years and have found some great treasures, fairly priced, including good, hard to find real antiques. The owner was easy to talk to and willing to negotiate. Don't miss the furniture annex which is further down the way in the same building.

This is a for profit thrift shop. However, they advertise on their front door that they take donations. Hmm. Be prepared to be greeted upon entry by huge and obnoxious Trump displays. I walked out. I'll take my liberal snowflake money elsewhere, preferably to someone doing good in the community.

I just returned from another successful shopping trip to Davis. Their inventory depends upon the homes that they have recently cleaned out. New this week are wooden African art and masks, original art in desirable frames, modern and antique lamps, cookware, crystal glasses, high quality furniture, books, and tools of all sorts. Prices are rock bottom. There are several rooms of inventory and excellent personnel to help. If what you are looking is not in stock, just be patient and Davis will eventually have it for sale.

Was excited to find a new thrift shop until the bald guy behind the counter treated me rudely just for asking a simple question. Will never go back.

I would gladly have given Davis Thrift Store a 5 star rating as their prices and items are so great.
But.after purchasing a heavy armoire and making special arrangements to have it delivered to a new home the day After I got the keys to the home, I got a phone message on Mother's Day saying they had delivered it. I had traveled to see grandkids and didn't get back until late afternoon.

When I called back to ask why as they were not supposed to do it on Sunday Mother's Day, they said basically "oh well they left it outside "under awning (which meant in front of garage) and I should call their boss".
I called and left a message, expressing my displeasure and asking for a call back as I would be meeting someone there on Monday for a special delivery (made After my arrangement with Davis). They could come back and move it in.
No Call Back, No Apology and I had to pay another mover extra to get it in the house.
It is still in two pieces as too heavy for him to move on top of base.

Customer Service is important. So I guess I learned a lesson. Davis isn't all it's cracked up to be. As much as I liked it, I won't be back.
