Days Inn by Wyndham Gainesville University

Just don't! I'm not going to waste my time spelling it out. This hotel knows what it needs to fix, so either charge what it's worth ($10) or shut it down. Bed bugs & all!

Terribly disappointed. We just wanted a simple clean room for two nights. We got a dirty, smelly room. Trash left on the bathroom floor, stains on doors and walls, mold on on bathroom ceiling. Saturday night was a SCARY nightmare with a noisy gang of at least 15 men congragating outside our room in the parking lot shouting, singing, drinking etc very raucous and loud making sleep impossible till past 3 in the morning. Called police and front desk. No one would help. Wydham should be ashamed to have their name on such a place. We will NEVER stay at any Wyndham hotel or resort again.

Terrifying experiences people are cracked out of their minds in the parking lot, a guy stood in the same spot for 4 straight hours. Cigarette burns in shower curtain, towel rod ripped out of the wall and the hole was filled with toilet paper. Crack between the door and the frame, so bugs can get in. No cameras in the parking lot at all, terrifying since I came a day early for college move in and had to spend the night with my entire life in my car. I hope it isn’t broken into by the morning. My family has this motel booked for parent’s weekend too but we cancelled that trip immediately as we arrived here. We leave the tv on when we aren’t here so nobody breaks in thinking we’re in here. At least the towels were fluffy.

Not a good hotel. Saw at least 2 roaches, one was dead and one was crawling on the wall. The shower needs to be repaired and had a decent amount of mold. Breakfast was just a small packaged item, not a good breakfast at all. Don’t reccommend staying here.

This place could use a really good facelift. Seems like it's stuck in the 70's. Such a pity - with being so close to UF.

The bed was comfy but the room and linens smelled like an ashtray. Walls are thin and cam hear everything in the other rooms. Air conditioning stopped several times in the night. Would not recommend.

It's way better then the Value Lodge across the street, but it does have its faults like most budget hotels. The door has no weather seal. The floor is nice fake wood, clean walls. Older lamps with rust. The double beds are well.sleepable. The bathroom is not great. The si k has some stains, the TP holder is cracked and broken, the light switch plate by the front door is cracked. Tile in the bathroom is old, the tub is old. Found 1 spider and 1 roach. Other than that it's ok for 1 night we are staying.

It smelled horrible there was roaches the floors was filthy looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months the countertops and tables along with the headboard looked just as bad there was also a shot needle by the wall and bed not to mention witnessing drug deals go on in the parking lot there’s also no cameras and if it’s just females traveling you’ll also have to worry about being harassed by old nasty guys hanging out on the sidewalks

The was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Old, run down, dirty. The bathroom was filthy. There is a section of the hotel that the roof has collapsed.

Not a bad little place. Quiet and comfortable. Clean. Was not happy that there was no coffee in the room, but that can be fixed easily.

The room was horrible and smelled like an ashtray. The bathroom was disgusting. We ended up leaving and getting a room elsewhere. It's my fault for not checking reviews, but we had a friend in the hospital a 1/2 mile away, so when I booked the room online and saw it was a Wyndham property I assumed it would be fine. I'm not sure what kind of control Wyndham has but they should do a site inspection of the property.
