Saw a couple of bugs, but for the price it was very nice and actually pretty clean. Area seemed nice, didnot seemed too dangerous puts you right by a lot of the tourist stuff that you're gonna want to do if you're in town to see the sights. I would stay there again for sure. This exceeded my expectations for the cost for sure.

Nothing to brag about; simple fairly dated accommodations but they are trying to rehab it. Room was clean and king bed was ok. On-site Dennys was handy. Area a little sketchy but well lit. Felt ok with bikes outside our door for the night.

Hotel was not clean
Bathtub was not draining
Rooms are extremely small and the floor was very dirty.

They advertise as a pet friendly but don’t specify rules so we got surprise by the front desk lady stating that only pets under 25 lbs were allowed and the pet can’t be leave alone in the room at any moment and no barking allowed
If I have to stay taking care of my dog I rather be at home
It’s a overprice very basic dirty place

When we first walked in to check in, the woman at the front desk was not very friendly. Then she was telling us a different price for the rooms, we had 2, so we showed her our confirmations. She said there was nothing she could do, and that would have to take it up with Hotels.com
Then, our friends were checking in and the 2 ladies at the front desk were arguing with a customer that apparently tracked her phone to the lobby and were telling her saying it was not there. Meanwhile, customers kept coming in to register and the 2nd girl could have helped them but was also with the lady. Bad customer service.
Next, we called down and asked for someone to bring extra coffee up to our room, and she said she didn’t have any then she said she found some but she had nobody to bring it up to us. Then we left a wake up call for 7am did not get a call. In both rooms the tubs drained slowly. There was no continental breakfast like it states on the website. Good location though. We were there with another couple over the weekend Friday to Sunday.

Good value at edge of Saint Augustine Historic District. Rooms spacious, quiet and very clean with good wifi, refrigerator and comfortable beds, pillows and towels. Outside appearance not as good as the service and value of the two queen bedded room.

Paid $170 a night for my wife's birthday getaway, this awful hotel which looks nothing like the pictures online almost ruined the whole trip.

Room was dated and in bad condition. Air conditioner leaked water all onto the floor of the room and was extremely loud. The room had a gross smell that permeated. The bed was like sleeping on a hard rock slab. The hotel is in a sketchy area. They don't clean rooms every day unless you ask. Every time we saw another guest in the lobby they were complaining about the conditions of their room.

It's clear that someone from management is on here inflating reviews of this hotel. Don't fall for it. Don't stay here!

It's an over priced hotel. The rooms are so so, have chipped walls, sink on bathroom is cracked and rusty, the doors stick and are super hard to open

Inconsistent staff experience at front desk-first employee was friendly, welcomed me and set things up for my roommate to arrive.   When she did, there was a staffing change, and that employee was cranky and bordered on uncooperative with the situation.
The room was clean but the door did not seal completely, so light could come in, as well as any creepy crawlies.
One morning we found a roach in our sink. It turned and went down the drain (where I assume it came from).   We kept the sink plugged the rest of the stay, opening only to drain water. We are going to chalk this up to being a hazard of Florida and not a mark on the hotel, but we could be wrong.

The local is good I don’t used my car for anything. That lady to the front Suzan is a sweet angel, the room is to close to the Dennis restaurant, so I listen noises morning early, the room don’t has tall enough for everyone. The room was clean, no have cockroaches, but the shower take like 6 minutes to turn hot, the freezer works good, the ac to. The best thing is that distance to downtown is perfect, was me, 1 teenager, 1 baby boy, and husband.
Don’t eat at the Denis, is long time waiting, and the food have noooooo flavor, I feel so bad eating there. I know it’s very easy to have a breakfast there, but not works good.

I can see why it's barely over 3 stars. The location and parking availability is good but poor customer service and while the room has an iron there are few other amenities like no tissue paper or microwave which the Days Inn 6 miles away by I-95 hassles the refrigerator wasn't powered and several electrical outlets didn't work either. My last stay in the summer the TV didn't work.

I would stay there again. Free parking and having Denny's on property was great. Woman at front desk gave me the best service and was super friendly. Rooms were clean, had fridge but no microwave, and the beds could be a bit more comfy. I would def stay there again when visiting.

Great professional women at arrival, even @ 12: 30 AM. The room was clean with the basics. Only complaint fever with the lower cost was the bed. Straight from the manger that thing was not forgiving

I feel like this particular Days Inn is a scam. I mistakenly didn't read the reviews before booking my room for two nights, which was a last minute trip to get away. I booked through a third party (Capital one Travel program) and one of my filters was that I only wanted to see hotels with a complimentary breakfast. This hotel was listed so I decided to book it. Of course my reservation was nonrefundable and I knew that before I completed the reservation. I drove about 3 hours from Orlando to get to this hotel and when I got there the front desk wasn't very friendly but she wasn't nasty either so ehh. Anyway, after receiving my key to the room and putting my stuff down I went back to the front desk to ask where the complimentary breakfast would be because I found it odd that there was a Denny's hooked on to the hotel. Again I'm coming from Orlando so I'm going by what I seen online. The front desk (manager name started with a V) looks at me like I'm crazy for asking about a complimentary breakfast when they have a Denny's sitting right there. I showed her what I seen online and she responded that third parties often post incorrect information. Mind you, I would not have booked this hotel if I knew my preferences weren't met hence the whole reason behind setting filters. This manager offered no solution but for me to cancel the room knowing that my reservation is nonrefundable which was inconsiderate. Reason why I think it's a scam is because after finding out there is no complimentary breakfast I decided to read reviews to see if this was a new change but I seen comments dated as far back as three months ago complaining about this. I don't understand how this manager can tell me a third party can post incorrect information on their site about an establishment. They had at least three months, (I'm being generous because I'm sure this problem goes back further than three months), to correct the issue so that people booking this hotel are getting exactly what it is. Instead they purposely use the fact that they themselves dont offer free breakfast on their site as an excuse when they know majority of people traveling book through third parties (I seen that Exploria has them listed as free breakfast as well). They did nothing for me and I was stuck to deal with the deception. My third party is the one who offered any kind of compensation which in my opinion wasn't their fault to fix but I did appreciate my program for being understanding. This hotel is not worth it. I'll be sure never to stay there again just because of the poor customer service. Had this been a recent change I would have been understanding but this is deliberate false advertisement on their part to not make sure information about their hotel is accurate. Imagine a third party posting they have an indoor pool and gym then someone books for those amenities only to find out that those things aren't offered. Then add the fact of showing the front desk that online it says your hotel has those things only for a manager to say third parties often post incorrect information as if that's normal. (An extreme example but you get my point).

Room was filthy. Cobwebs on the walls and ceiling, the tub was cracked and wouldn't drain, sink was cracked, and the room itself and the hotel is VERY outdated and in need of repairs. It's no where near what was advertised on the website. And no phone service, basically a DEADZONE until we got out of the parking lot. Too expensive for this type of hotel. DISSATISFIED WYNDHAM REWARDS CUSTOMER.

1st room, one of the beds was broken, so we got switched to a second room the next night. The room was clean, but the water in the tub took about 20min to drain out. It is dog friendly. No breakfast, (but for the money you spend on the room you should get a discount at the Dennys at about 5% to 10% something) just a thought.

Customer service is shady. Had a member of our party go to the front desk to request a room card to my room so he could prank me. He walked up and asked for a key card for the room and they just gave it to him! No questions asked and he wasn't even ID'd. Are you freaking kidding me? I had a work laptop, some valuables and cash in my room and it could have easily disappeared if the wrong person gained access to my room. The people working at the front desk on the night of 11/6/21 should be fired.no questions asked!
