Daytona Beach VA Clinic reviews
18This place will not answer their phones. I've left 3 months of voicemails to dental clinic. They won't return them. The dental clinic is always closed as in no one is working. An if they are working they are hiding in the back rooms on their phones. Im 100 percent disabled veteran been trying for 4 months to get my teeth fixed. When I finally get some one on the phone. They make an excuse why they can't help me. Worst VA in the nation
This place is a bad joke. They don't bother to answer their main phone number for days. Now there's just a recording saying their number has been disconnected. WTH?
Dr Blackwood at the Gold Team in the Daytona Beach, FL. VA Clinic, has helped save my life; I am forever grateful for his dedication to keeping myself and other veterans healthy as he possibly can. Oftentimes in spite of the veteran themselves, and I speak from personal experience on this one.
Just moved to Volusia county from Seminole county. My veteran spouse needed blood work done before his doctor's appointment next week. Walked in to the Daytona Beach VA clinic and was greeted warmly at the information desk. Went to the lab and had NO wait. They pulled up what my spouse needed on their computer and got it done very quickly. Phlebotomy staff was very professional and kind. Other than the restroom smelling like urine, it was a smooth and efficient experience!
As a traveling vet they took great Care. Nurse Practitioner Culter goes way beyond her care for Vets.she should be recognized as a very efficient nurse and also Christy I think is her PA. I was helped within two hours and the X-ray stayed the extra five minutes after 4: 30 closing to give me X-rays. And results read the next day.
I’ve been trying to get a mental health appointment for over a month. I get an appointment for something I specifically said I didn’t need an appointment for, so they make me a secondary appointment for what I actually need but can’t see me until October. So, 5 months to wait for a mental health appointment? The VA isn’t in the business of helping veterans at all. They might as well get rid of VA health care because it makes most veterans lives more difficult
On hold for hours at a time just to be transferred to another line to be on hold again and hung up on
Daytona needs to close this place down they are not here to help veterans u have to go to lake nona I get help Daytona needs a hospital to help veterans remember they serve our country
The absolute worst people I've ever seen. I will never use the VA ever again after dealing with the incompetence and just lack of care for veterans. It's really no wonder 22 veterans kill themselves daily after dealing with this facility.
Health danger!
Walked in was talking to the check in desk and low and behold German cockroach infestation and not a concern from staff.
This is unacceptable to our veterans and those who serve.
This is a health risk to us all and this place needs to be shut down and properly deep cleaned with an exterminator.
This should be on the news
Called and all I got was a phone ringing for 17 minutes I called back spoke to someone, they transferred the call and more ringing for 14 minutes. I called back and got a message saying that my wait time was 17 minutes 20 minutes later I get a message saying my wait time is 14 minutes.
I called the VA crisis line because I was having issues. I got a busy signal.
The male experience is different I get it. I’m pretty sure VA claims get denied by all but know that someone who isn’t even a veteran got approved for a VA claim and there Vets that serve 8-20years and get treated terribly. Just make questions how broken the system is
I've been going here for the past 6 years and I can't express how amazing the staff has been toward me and my wife. All around great experience
I just literally called the man answering the phone as the operator was RUDE AS HELL! I could barely ask a question before he responded in the harshest tone! On second thought maybe I need to go to the Orlando VA instead if this is any indication of the clinic overall!
Once again the va failed me luckily my neighbor had antibiotics or would have had pneumonia by monday
Changing my view do to going in person. The one guy was super nice help me get set up and gave me some helpful tips. Just one bad experience with who ever answered the phone and called me bro and was very unprofessional and rude with answering my questions. Clean big clinic.
I was the first appointment of the day and the doctor still saw me late. This is why they get further and further behind as the day goes on. When I went for enrollment they didn't give me an ID. I didn't even know I was supposed to get one. How do you forget that? It's like.the only thing to do at the enrollment appointment.
I have been going to the Daytona Beach VA for a couple years now and it's hard to explain how happy I am with the services I receive they are polite, prompt and very informative. Sometimes I have to wait a little long but that is the world we live in today too much to do and not enough people to do it.
