I'd only recommend Daytona Hyundai if you want the absolute worst used car buying experience of your life. That is what we experienced when we made an offer that was accepted by the dealership by email, a Buyer's Order with the price breakdown was provided to us, phone conversations were had by me with the sales person, sales manager and internet director with the date set to come purchase the vehicle and driving directions provided to us on how to avoid Daytona Speedway traffic (a drive that is 45 minutes from our home), only to have the sales person call my cell phone (at 8: 50 a.m. The morning arranged for us to come pay for and pick up the car) as we were driving to the dealership and were minutes away) to inform us that the dealership sold the car the night before. Sales person and sales manager when we arrived were mildly apologetic, without explanation for what happened. Didn't even offer to cover the cost of our gas for driving over. Sales manager had the nerve to try to make me feel bad about being upset about the whole situation by saying it just a car and bringing up the Parkland high school shooting - way out of line and even more upsetting to my 16 year old son who was with us and was very effected by the high school shooting (Who does that?). Sales manager further try to excuse his actions by suggesting he went out of his way for us getting us a CarFax Report that we had requested (He needs some additional training because all information on Certified Pre-Owned Hyundai says that you get a complimentary CarFax Report and uses the registered trademark name). If I owned this dealership, this guy would not work there (unprofessional, uninformed and dishonorable).

Wouldn't go there if it was the last place in the world. First it took them 2days to finally get us into a car after hours of saying that it will be just a few more minutes, them we brought the car back because the horn didn't work and we left with the horn not working and the a/c and blinkers not working because some how they took out a few fuses and forgot to put them back in. Then they said that the car was sold as is and I said where is the paperwork saying that and because they couldn't find any they were going to send our car out to another place for the repairs. Just like I asked what is the cash price for a vehicle but for some reason they can't just give me the answer. It's easy to say 11,000 plus tax title and registration or something like that but no they what to waste time which I did once with them, never again.

IMHO I would have easily given 5 stars EXCEPT, what I would have done for MY customer, business wise, didn't happen for me, till my 4th return visit the same day.

But. The service desk took every effort to correct the issue, and make their customer (short of buying me lunch).

I did however receive gas and an oil change for the inconvenience.
I applaud that.

I can't get the hours of my life back nor turn back my odometer miles caused by the issue, but they did what they could.

They just should have done what they did to resolve the issue on my 3rd return visit, not the 4th. IMHO

Thank you Daytona Hyundai for demonstrating to my son, good business ethics.

Good Role Models come in all types including the people at YOUR business.

Everyone at Daytona Hyundai was exceptionally nice and took very good care of my car! Bernie made me feel right at home and safe by explaining everything that they would do to my car along with other services that my car needed. I will definitely be coming back to Daytona Hyundai for all my maintenance needs!

Benard is one of the nicest guys I've met. He took take of my car and got me back on the road in a timely manner. Everyone here been great.
