Daytrippers Sports and Travel Camp reviews
3Just called to ask simple questions about my son attending the Summer program (he is on the Autism Spectrum) and was completely dismissed on the idea of him attending. The person I spoke with didn't even sound like he wanted to try it out. He said it was a safety issue which I understand but they weren't even willing to ask to meet my son. I am very disappointed and will not be referring anyone in the special needs community.
My son is autistic and has ADHD so before committing to him attending long term, I contacted them to make that it was a good fit for him. Coach Andy took the time to learn more about my son and asked me specific questions to make sure any challenges could be discussed beforehand, such as transitioning between activities, staying with the group during outings, etc. He encouraged me to arrive early on the first day to meet his camp counselor. I also like that they have one counselor per 5 children. Overall, extremely pleased for the opportunity for my son to participate in so many exciting field trips and would highly recommend!
My 5 year old went to Andy’s day trippers for winter camp during his vacation. My son loved every day and was excited to go! Dave n Busters, ice skating, trampoline places, sports, parks.these kids were busy non stop!
Andy is personable and can keep up with these non stop kids and their energy! Highly recommend this as a winter or summer option!
