Debauchery, Melbourne FL

Was trying to enter the bar with some girl friends on a night out. When some of us got in the others were still in line and I was asking my friend why they weren’t allowed in yet (capacity obviously) but a handful of people left when we came in. The security guard who was not in the conversation SCREAMED… no exaggerating “I know how to count” and when I was like woah, blown away that he just screamed at me for no reason, he continued screaming out of pure rage. I know you need security but maybe try someone who isn’t loaded up on steroids and acts like a giant baby… Very unappealing at an establishment that runs off paying customers.

Idk if they deleted my fiance's review or something but I don't see it here so I'm just gonna re-assure the people who read this and the people who run the bar that the security was extremely rude to me and wouldn't allow me in the bar because "men shouldn't wear handbags" they made me step aside and stuff my purse into my fiance's backpack just to let me in. I guess they don't want men who look fabulous buying drinks at their bar? They then hastily tried to make up reasons for their rudeness after they laughed at me and made homophobic comments about how i should only be holding a handbag if its for my lady and asked if I had feminine products in it, extremely rude and made me very uncomfortable. Me, my friends, and my family will never be coming back to this place, they need to fire and rehire new security and from what I've read on these reviews that's just one of many problems with this bar

I am new to Melbourne, tried to enter your establishment three wannabes. Interrogated me, emptied my pockets, ranna metal detector on me, they were very unprofessional, after all that, walked in, walked out, not in the mood, I will never be back to your thug establishment, there's a way to be professional when you frisk someone at the door

Tell everyone you know to avoid this establishment.
Religious discrimination. Refusal of service.
UN American Anti bill of rights.

Surprisingly awesome music venue. I frequent downtown Melbourne routinely but never stop in here until I recently went to a Mike Love and Dub Inc show and was pleasantly surprised how cool the atmosphere was. Awesome staff. I'll add this gem to my occasional pub crawl.

Saw my favorite bands perform here. We arrived early, seats at the bar, stayed all night, and our bill was shockingly cheap. The bathroom mirror is something to see! One of the ladies stalls was out of order which caused quite a backup but overall a great hangout kind of place.

I catch all the good vibes there, and people are friendly over there, especially the bouncers and the bartenders.

Had a good time but one of the body guards (blonde and "stocky" with a thin mustache/beard-ish?) I saw melt down on some girl who was about to pee her pants (the female line was too long). A guy was going to let them use the male bathroom who also had a black shirt (making him look like security) after they were first told no, BUT HE LOOKED LIKE SECURITY. The real security got onto them HARD, the girls backed off, and then he escalated by saying "that's it" after staring the entire line of women down like he was going to rage out on all of the females in the line. They complied when told no regardless of the confusion, and he stood there staring then suddenly "THATS IT" because all the women looked nervous and laughed awkwardly. I guess a nervous laugh from even people not involved was enough to spark rage. Was pretty awkward to watch. Guy needs to chill. Get some thicker skin, big man.

Came here with my friends and I had a really good time. The drinks were good. The only weird thing is the two way mirror in the bathroom but other then that staff was nice and attentive. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

I love that place. Been going there for years. Happy hour $5 a drink bartender is super nice. Big place they have a band very clean. Really love to go there and I love the name.

I went here Halloween night. Good venue. The female bartender was nice but the pour of my drink was so small I was very upset I had to pay $7 for my shot to only be half there.

Only been during the day for drinks. Seems more of a nighttime bar with pool tables. Bathroom “mirror” is pretty cool.

Security physically pushed me and my female friend out of the bathroom. Never been touched or pushed by security before, not a great experience.
