Deep Six Dive and Watersports, Vero Beach FL

Went there to get a Hawaiian sling (a specific kind of fishing spear) and the tall gentleman gave me a very good crash course on everything you need to know about that type of fishing. Prices are slightly higher than I'd like, but still reasonable.

I can’t believe these guys are still here! I live in Toronto and we used to come here for summer vacation for two weeks as kids this was our go to shop! We even still have deep six stick to be used up and on our snow boards

Bad customer service here. The young girl didn’t want to answer any questions, was coughing in my face just backing away from me, what the heck. There was a rack of rash guards and at the top was a sign that read above them all, sale sale sale. I asked the girl was the whole rack on sale? If yes what was the sale price? Or were items on sale only separate marked? She said In an annoying way like don’t bother me tourist, sorry rash guards aren’t normally on sale. Well that doesn’t answer me. All she had to say was items on sale would be marked, if not marked not on sale but she wasn’t listening to me and didn’t seem like she wanted to work at all. Rude. She just acted like I don’t care and walked away. I put back the merchandise and walked out. If you don’t like customer service don’t work in retail.

Still the most awful customer service and employees in all of Indian river county. It’s laughable at this point. Figured after all the negative reviews there would be some change but clearly the leadership is really the problem.

It's 2021, can you _please_ update your gift certificate program so mishaps aren't so consequential to your customer base.

Dropped off a scuba tank for a hydro on 9/22/2021. Checked on it appx. 3 weeks later. The kid I was dealing with told me it were done I'd have gotten a call, he didn't check just in case. So I have been waiting for a call. Today, 10/30/2021 I decided to call again, a young lady took my call, checked and advised it was ready. Remember I was told I'd get a call. So I went in to pick up my tank, 2 young men behind the counter, 1 waiting on a customer. The other never offered to assist me. I went to tank corral, found my tank and carried it to counter where the one young man was still waiting on a customer and the other was consumed in his cell phone, I finally ask if he worked there, he said yes. I ask if he could valida my tank ticket. He did and I left. Terrible customer service and they need an adult or somebody to get ducks in a row, I'll be going somewhere else in future.

I am sure it's the brands that run small, no fault on your own. I am a size 8/ 10 and couldn't find anything to fit me. I see that there is a HUGE Florida market that hasn't been tapped. Just saying. Love the customer service.

This is my new dive shop it's a little more expensive then most places $8 for a fill a dollar off if you buy 20. Large shop they do a visual inspection right then and there and fill your tank. Decent prices on weight. It's also a Skate and Surf Shop, my Disneyland

I got PADI Open Water certified at Deep Six Dive and Watersports in June with instructors Don and Ben. Although I needed to get this certification for my degree, it was one of the most rewarding experiences in my entire life. It was beyond fun and I felt that between the PADI online course and the in-person pool/ ocean dives, I was pretty well prepared. Even a few months later, I can still recall the skills we learned as a class. I felt comfortable asking questions and they offered good feedback during the exercises. The atmosphere is awesome as the instructors were very kind and you could immediately tell that they cared about each person. On my first ocean dive, I was pretty terrified, but the instructors took turns between helping the group and helping me descend. Even underwater they helped keep me calm by taking a picture of me with my camera and signaling for me to continue to take pictures of the reef life. Before I knew it, I was no longer worried. The dive was amazing and I had a blast thanks to the compassion and knowledge of the instructors. I would absolutely get certified here again for more diving courses.

Deep Six - One of very few stores mandating masks and the employees are incredibly rude. Walked in to buy a new pair of Costa sunglasses and a couple pairs of board shorts. Sadly was trying to support a local business and will never spend another dime here. But I did spend a couple hundred at Wabasso Surf shop for their respect of choice and freedom! God Bless America!
