Called Del-Air after having several other HVAC companies unsuccessfully service an issue with our A/C unit. They responded quickly, sending someone the very next day. We were fortunate to get a top-notch tech, Mark Coyle. Mark was very professional and seems like a great guy. Most importantly, he knows his stuff and he took the time to actually diagnose the issue, and permanently fix the problem. Will only be using these guys going forward.

Radolfo, the technician, deserves a medal. While I was frustrated that I had to wait so long without our air conditioning, Radolfo worked late in the evening to make sure he diagnosed the problem to get our system working while promising to return to find the refrigerant leak and fix it properly. He is a model employee and should be recognized along with his supervisor for their dedication to customer satisfaction.

This is my normal AC company I use and they've been great but when calling to schedule a recent emergency appointment I was told they couldn't see me for 2 weeks. Went with another company who was onsite within the hour and now has my new maintenance contract.

Worst company ever. I have a 10 year warranty with them and when I needed service they couldn't come for 5 days. Don't use them. I give them a 0 rating. You expect better service for what you pay for.
Me air conditionong went out when it easn90 spmething degrees outsife and I vouldnt get servive for 5 days. Bdont use them

Brand new air conditioning installed. Went to put a new filter in 3 months later and found out they didn’t have the right size filter when they installed the brand new unit and the air filter was just laying at the bottom of the return. Useless.

My girlfriends townhome has been having issues and delair has had to come out dozens of times for warranty work and they are always hours late never pick up the phone and have yet to fix the issues or show up on time or even do the repairs or services they are supposed to if they decide they are going to show up. We do not have time for their lack of basic consideration, competence, and customer service. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

Update to the review.

Normally don't review unless extremely happy with service or extremely disappointed. If I could give 0 stars that's what I would give.

Shot version for those of you don't want to read the detail:
All they did was CHARGE AND GO DURING THE SERVICE WARRANTLY PERIOD. ONCE WARRANTY WAS OVER THEY ARE NOW READY TO PROPERLY FIX THE SAME PROBLEM WHICH EXISTED FROM YEAR ONE AND YEAR TWO WHICH WAS NEVER FIXED PROPERLY AT FULL PRICE.

So Del Air installed my system in a new house we bought and had service warranty for 2 years. We moved into the house winter of 2018 and had problem with cooling in the summer of 2019. At the time we contacted Delair and Pete came out and resolved the issue. WAS TOLD WE WERE VERY LOW ON REFRGERANT AND THIS COULD HAPPEN THE FIRST YEAR BECAUSE AT THE TIME OF INSTALL IT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED PROPERLY. And I Had left very good review as he was very professional and experienced tech and had the job done.

A year goes by summer of 2020 same issue happened. Pete came out again, REFRIGERANT LOW AGAIN. He performed refrigerant check and could not identify leak as it was very windy outside the unit during the test. AGAIN REFRIGERANT WAS RECHARGED, problem solved. There was no follow up visit scheduled to identify the leak.

Now again this summer we have same issue, Del-AIR Tech came, before even doing a complete test he was able to go directly to the leak locations. (I wonder how). Now that our warranty expired in December, although the issue persisted from year one, year two to year three and was never fixed properly, Delair wont take responsibility of their work. When asked, apparently they only have record of coming to my house for repair on the first year. So seems like the second time Pete came out and did recharge and did a leak test vanished from their system, now the customer is made look like dishonest by claiming that the problem persisted year 2 and that Del-air had come again to fix the same problem from year one.

We are light user of AC, considering this I would have to think the leak is very small and happens over the year, and when shows up in summer months when the use is high.

I had done proper maintenance as recommended by Pete, replacing the filter and cleaning the drain system every 60-90 days. Followed all instructions. Yet Del-Air want to wash their hands.

The technician even suggested I refuse to pay for the service call, so this way they can refuse to have repair done in the future. I still payed for the service call as this is the right thing to do for his work. But I am extremely disappointed with their service. I even requested for call back from manager which I am still waiting to this day. I even asked if I can talk to Pete who came out both times for the repair so that he can vouch for the second time he came out which is not in their system, but was refused.

My initial review 2019
I had great experience with the technician Peter who came out. He was good at what he did, and also made very good conversation throughout the process. We enjoyed his company and problem was diagnosed and fixed very quickly.: This was my post in 2019 when they first came out.

In the past year Del-Air has had to come to my home upwards of 15 times due to the errors they’ve made when installing and repairing. Not only are their employees unprofessional when speaking to customers, the company as a whole never communicates with customers. There have been many times where I had to chase them down to follow up on parts coming in, service calls with the correct tools, etc. I have had multiple appointments waiting around for hours with Del-Air ultimately never showing or getting into contact with me. If you want to waste your time and money, go with this company.

This is the worst customer service company I believe I have every worked with. Improper installation in my new construction home caused leaking and mold in my home. 5 services calls to get them to repair properly. Ongoing maintenance issues, never made a time window on time, no show for appt after 7hr window ended with no call. Do yourself a favor and find a new company.

This appointment was for a maintenance check per our Del-Air contract. We were notified first when the technicians would arrive. On arrival they were very personable and informative with explanations plus their service was performed in a very efficient manner.

DO NOT USE DELAIR! Untrustworthy company.
Our AC went out so we called DelAir to come out as it is still under warranty with them. They stated they would come out the next day despite the house being 82 degrees and I am 8 months pregnant and we have a toddler at home as well. They informed us the parts would be under warranty but we still owed $80 for the visit. The man came out and diagnosed our compressor being broken. Stated the capacitor inside was broke which has made the compressor outside break. He informed us NEITHER of these items were under warranty and the compressor would cost us $1,000. He replaced the capacitor that night and charged us $190 for the part which he told us was also not under warranty and the visit. He stated he would come back the next day to replace the compressor.

Something didn't seem right so we called another AC company to come out. The other company came out, informed us the capacitor, compressor and the broken expansion valve were all broke and all COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! He fixed it all that day and we never even heard back from DelAir. No one has called to follow up.

I am extremely disappointed in the theft and lack of service DelAir provides. This is not a company people can trust and I would NEVER recommend anyone to use them again.

Matt Hensley, Service Person fine Del Air is the consummate professional. He was efficient, effective, engaging and informative. We have always had great services from Del Air and Matt was exceptional.
We were educated on the services for our system and given the opportunity to improve our system. Matt established an avenue of trust for us to make our decisions.
Matt Hensley is a grand asset for Del Air.

Lost air conditioner last Saturday July 13th. Left message with address, name and cell phone number twice. Called again Monday July 15th. Indicated we have an extended Gold Contract gave cell phone number, name and address again. Operator indicated the Gold Contract holders are serviced on Wednesday’s? Wednesday came and went. Our neighbor had to open the house due to us being snow birds. Finally after several conversations it was scheduled for Thursday July 19th. Fixed finally without a service report? May look for another supplier!

In a word, excellent. Jason came out to do a standard HVAC check up. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He found a minor part issue that would have led to a bigger repair later. Overall I am very pleased.

After 2 years in my new house I discovered the drain pipe for my HVAC system was not glued together upon installation. I called service and they sent a tech on a Saturday night (excellent) Repair was made and I am pleased with the results.
