This dealership should be avoided in terms of servicing your car until Delray Genesis moves to its new location sometime during 2024. The service operation is simply overwhelmed with work and cannot keep up with demand. This leads to incredible customer frustration and disappointment. The service department held onto my 2023 G-90 for 3.5 weeks and returned it to me without having resolved the various problems in which I brought the car in. I was absolutely flabbergasted that I was leaving the service department with the same defects I brought to their attention weeks earlier! It was very clear to me that I was not the only customer feeling this way, since I overheard the remarks of other customers saying that they will "never return to this dealership again due to the incredibly poor service". I personally like John, the Service Manager, but he obviously cannot control the quality control of the service department end result. I'll give it possibly another shot after they open their new digs, and they have the proper support and facilities to deal with demand. In the meantime, I have to figure out which is the closest Genesis service facility that can competently resolve my changing lanes, maintaining lanes, cruise control and rear window shade problems.

I needed a software update on my Genesis G70 and made an appointment in advance. Upon arrival they told me they needed me to leave it overnight without offering a loaner. The guy told me he'd call me back to reschedule and never did (as I expected). Not even sure if they knew how to fix my issue. Very unhelpful and incompetent, and not friendly. Go elsewhere to service your Genesis.

The worst service department ever encountered.absolutely no communication.waited on phone 13 minutes and then was disconnected.
Was supposed to get loaner…they came by Uber…did not leave a car and haven’t heard anything for 24 hours…we called them…they didn’t call us…
Love car but will never buy another one from them!

I had an appointment at 1: 30 with Jon Stephan at the Delray Beach Service Center. Over an hour later, I’m still waiting for my to be checked in. No apologies or anything. He is in the back somewhere. Just avoid.

Update: I went to the front to ask where Jon was and someone named Jerry got him. Jon apologized and said that no one told him I was there. So beware the front office.

We just bought a new vehicle from Michael at Delray Genesis this past weekend. For the most part all our dealings were done over the phone prior to our arrival at the dealership. Everyone was very courteous when we arrived. Would have given 5 stars however the finance/paperwork process was extremely tedious. We waited for well over an hour just to sign everything. We have bought many cars over the years, with several transactions done completely online without even seeing the car ahead of time but have never waited as long as we did this time. Other than that… we love our new SUV! UPDATE: Just lowered our rating as the customer service department is useless. They never transferred our tags over 10 days ago and called saying we would need to do ourselves. We are still waiting for the forms and can not get a hold of anyone. In all the years of buying cars, this is the WORST service we have gotten! Also, the person who responded below was contacted and NO RESPONSE was sent back from him! For a luxury brand they really should have top notch customer service! ANOTHER UPDATE: 2 weeks later, numerous phone calls to this dealership, Genesis Concierge, Genesis Customer Care, Genesis Finance and the original salesperson Michael, and we still have nothing resolved. NO correspondence at all or the forms we need to register our car. We have been buying cars for many, many years and never had we had such horrendous service, or should we say lack of any service. Even the person who responded to this comment with his personal email was contacted TWICE and no response. Unless something drastically changes its sad to say that although this car is nice, the lack of any customer service will definitely steer us away from ever purchasing another Genesis.
UPDATE… 3 months later we ended up trading in our GV70 for a Volvo CX60. We will NEVER buy a Genesis again!

We dealt with Alan Silverman and while the Genesis G90 couldn't not help him look good, he was a pleasure to interact with with this purchase. He was pleasant, friendly, professional and followed up afterwards to make sure everything was going well. I have always found it difficult to buy a car locally but driving to Delray from Stuart was definitely worthwhile. I strongly recommend Alan and Delray Genesis.

Good luck getting anything done if you aren't in the store if you get Kerishia as your internet salesperson. Car I wanted sold to someone else because my salesperson didn't do their job.

Terrible experience with the service department. Starting from the phone, waited an hour just to get ahold of someone to make an appointment. The lady that spoke with me promised me that they will have a loaner ready because my vehicle is not safe to drive as it has been turning off randomly. Once we get to service they wait an hour to tell us that they do not have any service loaners and that they will not be keeping our vehicle to be able to fix it. In other words, they wasted out time, lied and put us back out in the streets with a vehicle that is not safe to drive.

Complaint about Lack of Customer Service and Lying

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the lack of customer service and the dishonesty I experienced during my recent interaction with your dealership.

On 03/29/2023, I contacted your customer service department regarding an issue I was having with my car I purchased from your company. The representative I spoke with was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in resolving my issue. After several attempts to get assistance, I was finally able to get an appointment where I told her I will need a loaner car and a early morning appointment, and I stated to the representative that my a/c, gear and regular service needed to be done on my car.which she said was fine.

However, I later discovered that this was not true.when I reached the dealership another representative who was unable to assist me and resolve my issue said they don't have a loaner car for me and probably wont be able to look at my car until next weekend. It was clear that the first representative had lied to me and had no intention of helping me. I even spoken to the Genesis department manager who was also unhelpful in this even didn't seem interested in helping, but was more relaxed as if this is a common thing for this location and service.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service I received and the dishonesty I encountered. As a loyal customer of your Genesis, I expect better treatment and honesty from your representatives. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take steps to ensure that this does not happen to other customers in the future. I'm sure no one is going to reach out to me to solve this matter but I will do my best to make sure i posted everything about this location so others won't have the same problem I'm having.

Had my mind set on the Genesis g70 for a while. Thanks to Frank at the Delray Genesis dealership who helped get me the exact car I wanted with a smooth transaction! The attention to detail of customer services was outstanding. The entire team was so welcoming, down to earth, and genuine. I highly recommend Genesis Delray for you next car purchase!

The sales department was wonderful. The paperwork after the purchase of the vehicle has been a nightmare. I have been waiting 4 months for the plates to my car. Each time I call to follow up, I have to make numerous calls to the staff, only to be transferred and ignored. Speaking with the manager has done no good. He is only motivated to get the issue off his desk, with little concern for the client or the clients needs. Unfortunately the salesman that sold me the car has quit, and informed me that these issues have been an ongoing problem with this dealership. Please save yourself the headache. Purchase elsewhere.

Prior to visiting Delray Genesis, I had searched plenty of other car brands and car dealerships. Nothing was winning me over, and most dealerships had little inventory. On a whim, I decided to stop by Delray Genesis. Game changer! My Sales Professional, Sammy Hadid, was courteous, professional, and efficient. He listened to my specific concerns and addressed them thoroughly. After checking out the available vehicle inventory and taking a test drive, I knew my search was complete. No other vehicle has “WOW-ed” me like those offered by Genesis. As far as professionalism, Sammy Hadid was the most mannerly, most patient, and most pleasant above all the other sales people from the other dealerships I visited. Since my purchase, I have been contacted by Delray Genesis to see if I had any questions and to ensure I was pleased. The communication and organization of Delray Genesis and the quality of the Genesis brand exceeded my expectations.

Although the cars and selection is great the sales representative James Kutcher was incredibly rude and unprofessional over the phone. Made the experience of purchasing a luxury vehicle very unpleasant.

It was a pleasure working with James K.for the purchase of my 2023 GV70. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. His follow up has also been great. I live an hour away from the dealership, but would make the sacrifice again to buy from Delray Genesis and James K.

This dealership is a complete joke. I had a service appointment scheduled for Tuesday and the Thursday before my appointment I received an email stating my appointment had been cancelled. I called the service department and after 6 calls final got a rude receptionist on the phone who told me my advisor quite and I had to reschedule my appointment and the next available appointment was a 45 days out. I told her this was unacceptable and asked to speak with the service manager. She transferred me and I got his voice mail and left him a message. He still has not returned my call.

Amazing but I hope it becomes fully self driving like Tesla but otherwise amazing safety features but I wish it had hands free driving like Ford Cadillac and other than that Genesis has the one of the most amazing safety features and also the staff here are more kind than many dealerships I have gone the staff admits there mistakes more than other places and I will always love this place thank you all for your amazing service
