Denny's, Fort Myers FL

This place has really good food, but there was a night when they were short staffed on a late night, and the manager was cooking. SHE was Stellar!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is by far the worst service and food I’ve ever had. We went and the store was near empty, maybe 3 tables including us, and our food took so long to get to our table. We ordered water with lemon, and the lemons never came. When the food finally got here the country fried was drenched in curdled gravy and the hash browns were dripping in oil. Disgusting. I ordered a side salad and the dressing never arrived, even tho I asked 3 times for it. Talked to the manager and she was no help. They should serve this food to prisoners on death row because that’s how long you’ll last after you eat it.

The service was amazing. It was a pleasure and refreshing soon as we got off the road to stop with so many friendly faces. Estephany was our waiter and she was amazing and VERY attentive. The pancakes was so fluffy and soft.

I work in the service industry and I can tell you that I definitely understand how it can be at times to work with the public. With all the more reason I empathize and sympathize with service industry folks. However my experience with the Denny’s in this location was horrible. My server was Candace and upon my family and entering was already off to a bad start. I came in with a smile and said good morning and she didn’t even acknowledge us at all. She even gave me a face when I asked her for a high chair. I didn’t get up and go because we were traveling on the road with two small kids and a senior citizen. Never again!

Great service, good food, The server was fantastic, very friendly and on the ball. The kicker was she looked just like my sister
I even showed her a picture of my sister and she couldn't believe how much alike they looked.

The hostess is a server and cashier at 2am needs more help in the dining room. Poor management who thinks 1 cook and 1 on the floor is enough in this establishment. 20 guests (8 tables) at once is insane for I person to be on the line alone and 1 to handle taking orders as well as cashing out all alone. Management needs to get it together. I had to return my plate as only the boneless chicken was hot everything else in my classic sampler was on the cold side. I wouldn't suggest anyone to come in this location to have a good meal.

5 pepper burger missing all ingredients, server returned it and brought back something. It had all the ingredients but they were falling all over the plate, cheese wasn't melted. No real care taken in the foods preparation or presentation. Gluten free English muffin was terrible. Burnt on one side and doughy on the other. Tasted fine. Fries were good, nice and crispy. Milkshake was good too, Strawberry. Service was fine. Friendly knowledgeable. Would not rush to return.

The staff was friendly from the time we walked in until we left. I just worked a 12 hour overnight shift and decided to take the grand kids to breakfast. The "grape lady" came and asked if the baby could eat grapes and brought her a bowl which was above and beyond customer service. Our server brought our food out with Jeffrey (electric serving cart) which the kids thought was so cool. All over and amazing experience. Thank you for everything and making a rough morning all the more better

Making this review today to thank the manager Rosanne who made my previous order right when I wasn’t satisfied, and making sure she went in and had it remade. Very great customer service. Will be coming back because of her efforts.

The waitress was really nice. The manager was super cool. It was a wonderful experience eating there. I love the menu. I'll definitely come back.

Waited for over 30 minutes and the place wasn't busy lots of empty tables and 4 groups left while we waited and no one was seated

I love that I can go to Denny's anytime of day to get breakfast lunch or dinner. I always seem to get my favorite "Moons over myhammy". I kid you not I have been buying this breakfast for 40 year's went there hoping it was still on the menu. Boom there it was a long with a Spicy Moon's over myhammy. Highly recommend Denny's restaurant

The server was what made this experience a 5 star! I forgot her name but she was a Spanish lady with glasses. Very sweet.

They should be embarrassed to have this place open. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and we were here at 10: 30 a.m. In the morning. Our food was not even brought out together so half of the family was finished eating prior to the other half even receiving their food. When our food finally came it was missing part of each meal individually. The waitress said the kitchen refused to make our kids eggs the way we ordered them "over medium". My kids drink orders were also wrong. Meanwhile they have this ridiculous robot that brings people food but our waitress told us the kitchen can only cook three meals at a time for a family of five. Maybe invest in trained Cooks instead of robots

Great place to dine in! My husband and I were visiting from out of town and love the atmosphere, the food was outstanding and served hot. Our server Laura was exceptional, Awesome customer service, thank you very much Laura for taking care of us! The Manager Ms. Rosanne with great hospitality and thank you for telling us about the delicious apple crisp dessert and thank you for the Blessing indeed! You have a great Team of People who enjoy doing what they do!

Nice environment. Food was good. It was surprising to see a food service robot on the floor! Our waitress was very kind but definitely high on some type of drugs!

My kids and I went here this morning and had a nice experience. The hostess was very welcoming and our waitress Laura was very friendly and made sure we were taking care of. My kids enjoyed their breakfast and the steak I had was well made and delicious! We’ll definitely be back again soon.
