After having emergency surgery, the hospital set me up with an appointment with Dr. Magnuson for follow up.

He was very attentive and very good about answering my questions.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good doctor.

I had my first visit with PA Magnuson and it went very well! He's attentive and very informative. My PCP is leaving AdventHealth and searching for a new one can be nerve wrecking. I think I made a good choice. So far so good!

He is the best Dr ever. When my daughter had a issue that was very serious, we had been to many doctors and they would not listen to her, luckily she had seen Dr Derek 3 months before. He took the time to listen and investigate what was happening. I moved my whole family to Dr. Dereck.

My mother in law started going to him years ago, and loved him. So Doris and I started going. We think he’s awesome! Very smart… listens to you… down to earth … actually has common sense (really)!

Dr. Magnuson has been our primary care provider for the last 5 - 6 years now. He's always very attentive, professional and goes straight to the point. He truly care about his patients and even take the time to interact with them. We had our first virtual appointment (due to the pandemic, face to face appointments are limited, which is great), and I had a great experience: Same attentive doctor, took his time to provide information and answer questions, like you can feel that even on a virtual platform he takes his job seriously. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Magnuson.

Derek is my primary care provider and he is excellent. He takes the time with me to answer all my questions and make sure that all my concerns are addressed. He's got a very nice office staff as well as the medical assistance. Everybody is friendly and has a good bedside manner. I highly recommend Derek and his team
