I like Dr. Marcus alot. He is personable.he listens. I am very confident in his ability. His staff is always helpful.

Once communication was possible it was a very pleasant experience. I was given a long wait (over two weeks) before I could get an appointment for a consultation. I made matters worse by missing the appointment because I got the date wrong in my head, totally my error. The next available appointment was a week away it HAD to be virtual because I was in New York. Forty five minutes of getting our phones to allow the " virtual " meeting to take place was extremely frustrating. Thanks to the help of a friend and his cell phone I was able to schedule a colonoscopy. When you consider my discussion with the doctor lasted all of five minutes and took three weeks to accomplish is the reason for the three stars. I share some of the blame for this long wait but the system in place for communication between Doctor and Patient is not acceptable and should be streamlined to allow access in a timely manner.

My first visit there, and they were great. Felt very comfortable with them. Dr. Marcus seemed to be very caring and listened to my concerns. Will recommend them to others.

The office was nice and clean. As for the staff, very friendly and courteous. The doctor and the intern ended my visit by making me feel that I was in knowledgeable, caring hands!

I was supposed to have an appointment at 1: 30pm today. I made the appointment online, received an email confirmation. I arrived at the office and was greeted by a rude front desk staff. She informed me that I did not have an appointment, it had been canceled. I did not get a call or a voicemail. When I confirmed my phone number she confirmed they did not leave a message and told me "your voicemail must not be setup. " Umm, no, my voicemail is setup. This is extremely unprofessional and was a waste of my time and money. I will not be returning to this group and am currently looking for another doctor. I highly advise any that decide to go here to triple confirm your appointment before wasting your time and be prepared for a rude greeting upon arrival.

The Doctor was great! However the office staff was rude, and did not follow the correct directions. I am still waiting to hear back from the office manager in regard to my next appointment. I was told I would hear 30 minutes after my appointment.

This was my initial visit with Dr. Marcus, performed virtually, however I felt I was right there in his exam room.
Dr. Marcus was thorough, friendly, and professional. We went back and forth with questions and answers, he asked to see my abdomen to help with his diagnosis.
He determined further testing was in order and now I'm waiting for insurance approvals to which Digestive Disease Center of the Palm Beaches are completely handling.
It was a wonderful experience.

Made appointment online, they said I don't have an appointment when I went there. They say that the appointment never showed up on their computer.

I have had digestive issues for over 45 years. Doctor after doctor just continued to give me no answers and no relief. Dr. Marcus keeps working with me to find an answer that will work. He doesn't make me feel like I am crazy when I describe my issues, he just keeps trying different solutions. I think he has done it this time. I have actually been 3 week free of stomach aches and pray it continues. I do know, that if it doesn't - he won't give up on me and WILL find a way to keep me pain free and with a healthy digestive system. His staff, is also SOOOO AMAZING, KIND AND INFORMATIVE. I am so glad I have found him.

Only had a video visit so far but was very pleased with the staff and Dr himself. Very comforting and clear on procedures needed.

Doctor Marcus is an excellent specialist! It is always a pleasure visiting him. Highly recommended!

This was an all encompassing medical experience that has eclipsed any previous encounters. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Excellent doctor and great staff. Dr. Marcus is the kind of doctor that you would want as your PCP. Very attentive and thorough. Even his staff, Rosemary, Kamar and Annette are patience and attentive to patients.

If I could give them a negative amount of stars I would. The staff is completely untrained or uninterested, hard to tell. Waited for an hour and a half in waiting room with other patients and told by the nurse that we were "being dramatic" for complaining. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

If I can leave 0 stars, I would. Recommended I let them perform a biopsy me costing me over $4000 for a biopsy and then had the audacity to try to charge me to get my results and refused to disclose them otherwise! Thieves and bandits! Don't trust them unless your insurance gives you, and them, a free ride! Very disappointing as I actually thought I had finally found the right doctor!

Dr Akiva Marcus is a wonderful doctor and takes time to help. His assistant, Rose, really works hard and deserves a kudo!
