Before they cancelled my colonoscopy without informing me, which meant I had already taken work off and prepped. After going to initial appointment you call or message on online portal and rarely does anyone respond. I called one time and waited for 45 minutes to talk with someone, then never got a call back. Was treated for a C Diff infection then days later having very bad pain. Doctor sent me for a CT scan. When results came back they said everything was fine but bladder wall was thickened and needed to go the ER immediately. I said I feel fine and have no trouble with urination, they said no go b/f it hurts your kidneys. I went and the ER doctor and later my primary doctor who both looked at the CT and asked if they (GI doc) asked me if I urinated prior to the CT. I said yes and they said urinating prior to the CT scan was the reason the bladder wall appeared thickened. So the GI doc cost me $1,000 ER visit along with 4 hours of my time for nothing. Later I was having a lot of constant pain in my intestines and called asking what I they would recommend. They said nothing. I asked is there medicine I should take or should I change any part of my diet. They said no. In other words you're in pain good luck no help from the doctor/nurses. I went to the GI for help not to be told "we aren't going to do anything else. " I had a colonoscopy scheduled in Feb and I had to prep taking prescription laxatives, my wife and I both took off work, as these things require planning. When I got there for the colonoscopy they told me "I WASN'T ON THE SCHEDULE"! They said they had cancelled the appointment but no one bothered to let me know. They were able to work me in the schedule a few hours later, but the lack of organization and communication is alarming. Later the bill came for the doctor appointment. I mailed them a check which they cashed. Then I get the same bill again saying it hadn't been paid. I called them and sent them a copy of the cashed check and invoice. Then I get a new bill they decided to tack on additional charges with no explanation. Unfortunately this is about the only GI clinic in town and most of the doctors work here. I would not recommend them in anyway, but with a lack of alternatives you are stuck. I'm considering going to an out of town doc just to avoid this clinic again. Summary for bad rating: Can't get a hold of anyone, colonoscopy appointment cancelled without notifying me, billing issues on their end, lack of attempting to provide care/fix issues. Update: they have sent me the bill for a 3rd time that was paid more than 45 days ago. Apparently they can't do basic accounting and match my cashed check with their invoice so they keep sending the same invoice even after being sent copies of the invoice and the cashed check. Unbelievable

Recently I had a clinical consultation and subsequent diagnostic procedure performed at DDC. Over the last decade +/- this was approximately my fourth interaction with the clinic. As always before, my experience, from first contact to after care follow-up call, was uniformly positive. Interacting with the DDC staff, across the functions of intake, billing, consultation, procedure prep/perform/recovery, and follow-up care, was a pleasure. They, and the physician who performed my procedure, Dr Michael Mangan, were uniformly friendly, professional, competent, and clearly cared about the patient experience. DDC and its staff earn my strongest recommendation.

You got to have guts to go to this joint. But that's the point. Rodriguez and associates are probably the best doctors and nurses all around in this town. If your offal is awful you go here.

Good experience here. Had upper endoscopy which I'm glad Dr. Gao ordered because we realized my stomach is inflammed. She is very professional and I am grateful she took my symptoms seriously. No problems with endoscopy, everyone was really nice and made me feel cared for. Don't remember much of anything.

I haven't been able to make an appointment like I was told to by the ER doctor because of severe abdomen pain because it's been TWICE now that I have been put on hold for 10+ minutes and nobody seems to want to take phone calls properly. Ridiculous.

If I could rate this doctor's office with zero stars I would. The call hold time is ridiculous, at least 20+ minutes each time you call. I do not recommend Dr. Somerset, he does not care about his patients. My primary sent over CT scans and a report of my issues, when I had my virtual appointment with him he didn't even review my ct scan until the end of my appointment. He believes in continued medicinal treatment and not procedures. When I asked the nursing supervisor to be scheduled with another doctor for a second opinion it took over 2 weeks to even find out if I would be accepted as a patient and schedule my procedure. When the follow up instructions tell you the office will call you with biopsy results, the office does not follow up.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I waited an hour and a half to speak with the doctors for 3 minutes and to be simply told to take fiber and was charged $200. Absolutely absurd and criminal. Will never go back there again and will be advising everyone I know not to as well. They didn't even take my temperature.

Not impressed.
Staff wasn’t rude, and the procedure was performed in a timely manner, But the Docs bedside manner was not the greatest, and they don’t or didn’t use Co2 for colonoscopies which left me with some terrible gas pains afterwards. They also don’t use propofol which is much easier to recover from. All that aside though.
My biggest complain is with the billing dept. I didn’t have insurance at the time and had to pay out of pocket UP FRONT. I paid the amount they told me would cover the procedure in full the day of the procedure. That was in July. I’m still receiving bills in December! The latest is for 17$ this is completely ridiculous and unacceptable!

If I could give a minus number I would. Dr. Somerset is the rudest physician I have ever encountered and I am an Rn. I felt verbally attacked by him and was told he could not help me. He asked me why I came there. For relief of symptoms obviously. For 5 minutes of the rude Dr Somersets time, being verbally attacked and told I could not be helped I was then charged 181 dollars. I thought robbery was illegal. Would not recommend Dr. Somerset to my worst enemy.

I can not describe how rude, inconsiderate, and unorganized this office is. I’m not sure if their management has an issue, but I have to explain to them multiple times that new test results have been sent over before they finally went back and checked and I was correct. I’ve seen multiple doctors here. Please, for your own sake seek out another doctor.

Excellent staff, all doctors that treated my stomach problems were on point. Grateful for all they have help address complex issues diagnosed. Have faith and be patient because you will be in the best place for your care.

Dr. Singh didnt show today 12/30/19, to handle his lines of patients with appointments. Staff disciover he was in S. C.today! Staff and 2 Drs did an amazing job today in all the chaos that ensued. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? I can't wrap my head around this! HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW YOU HAVE PATIENTS LINED UP, SOME FOR OVER A MONTH!

Dr. Singh and his staff are always so pleasant. If you have questions, Dr. Singh will spend the time with you to make sure you are comfortable with whatever procedure that is being performed. Dr. Singh is very knowlegable and really cares about his patients. I highly recommend the Digestive Disease Clinic and Dr. Singh and his staff.

Great Doctors and Nurse professionals that actually care about the patient. They saved my life and made me smile. What more could I say.

It had been 13 yrs since I saw Dr. Singh because I moved back home & he is still the most pleasant & professional Physician who knows his Profession that I have ever seen. This is why had no problem driving 110 miles to see him. Thank you Dr. Singh

Staff very friendly and professional. Wait time minimal. Visit put me at ease about a procedure i was not looking to!

I was greeted by a very friendly young lady when I entered. She asked me some basic questions then handed me a clipboard with a few forms to complete. Before I could complete paperwork, I was called back to examination rooms. I saw two young ladies, one that took my vitals & explained procedure process and one that went over my medical history, listened to my heart and explained the details of the procedure. All of the employees were professional and friendly.

Been going there for over 30 years, wonderful staff, Dr Larry Taylor is one of the best doctors I have ever known.
