Dillard's, Jacksonville FL

I bought a watch about a week ago. I finally opened it and it was too big and I went back to get it resized. I was told by Anisa (don’t know how to spell it properly) I couldn’t have it simply resized because I didn’t have the receipt on me in an aggressive way. I’ve always gotten my watches from there and had got them resized there, without the receipt so I don’t see the problem. I asked for the manager and I got the assistant manager by the name of Shalon I believe. She seemed to not care or have any intention in helping me in my situation. Her tone made her come off in a rude manner. Now my problem really lies in the fact that their attitude and tone didn’t come off as clean. I understand the part of not having the receipt, but I believe I was mistreated and that was wrong.

When looking for a new cologne, perfume, or just a great experience in general, ask for Marcella! She is the sweetest thing, such a knowledgeable and passionate girl, who keeps you in mind with your purchase. Keeps me and my boyfriend smelling good, he won’t trust anyone but her and neither will I. Thank you Dillards she is hands down a big asset to your store! Lastly, Thank you MARCELLA, you are the best girl! We know we will always be taken care of with confidence! ️

A hidden treasure. I purchased so many shirts, shorts and slacks. There was a sale on so many items that I must toss out the old clothes in my closet. I would have easily spent $1,000 but it was less than $500. All sizes too! Better quality and better priced than wally-world.

I visited this store for the first time today. I did not realize the store closed at 7: 00pm. I was upstairs and found a dress I was interested in purchasing. I was looking around for some assistance and a security guard approaches me and asks "what door are you exiting out of? " This totally surprised me. I said I came in through the entrance by the lingerie. He immediately announces over the speakers that a customer is coming down to exit out the lingerie exit. So I immediately put the dress down and left the store since I felt as though I was being put out. Most stores would at least let you make your purchase although I looked at my watch and it was 7: 02pm when I walked out the store.

This is one of the Dillards stores that actually sells some higher end clothing - in the men’s section, you can find Armani, Hugo Boss, Hickey Freeman, etc. The men’s section also has a better selection of clothing overall than you will find in most Dillards. However, I encountered one salesman in the suit section who was rude and who basically implied that myself and several other gentlemen browsing nearby were too fat to be shopping there - which is absurd given that much of my wardrobe has been purchased at Dillards over the years (and I’m not exactly fat, either). My wife and I thus left and instead went to the nearby Brooks Brothers, whose salesman were very kind and helpful.

Dilliards is behind time on processing returns. I can't believe they have such a shrinkage issue or financial issue that the customer has to go thru so many different policies on returns. If it's on line, they can't do an in store return without that little yellow sticker which PROVES it came from Dilliards. If u buy shoes and need to return you can't get your money back if it's more than 30 days since the original purchase. It took 45 mins today for the clerk to assist me at a Clinique counter. No help. She didn't know where anything was nor was she knowledgeable about the brand. I am reminded why I shop at Nordstroms every time I go thru this at Dilliards. It's always a hassle of some kind. Always.

My wife needed to return a purchase. The store was clean, well lit, and organized. The reason for the three star rating is that there were few employees around to provide service, perhaps due to the labor shortage. Once an employee helped us, the service was great.

The lady in the lingerie dept was fantastic! She made getting bras for my tween comfortable and easy. She was very professional. I was disappointed that her name was not on the receipt.

CHANEL saleslady just smiled and sits there looking like about to have a makeup makeover, never bothered to ask and offer assistance. Assisted me after about 20 mins of just sitting and talking with her co worker. Told me why I did not asked for help, duh? It’s her job to offer help and assistance. Besides, she was sitting there like a customer so I just waited to be helped. She was this lady with a short salt and pepper hair or gray hair.

The quality of service makes Dillard's my #1 go to place when shopping in person. The staff know their department well, and seem genuinely interested in helping find just the right thing.

Very nice clothing and a ton of options. I found it all overpriced and the staff wasn't as friendly to me as other customers probably due to the fact that I don't look like I cant afford a $200 shirt

Wonderful customer service. A great collection of new designer silver jewelry and plenty of reasonably priced costume jewelry.

Needs a good cleaning. Some staff are great and some just not helpful. Would go back. Has a little bit of everything at all price points.

Just not my taste in clothes, and they can be pricey. Kind of preppy looking. I've tried, but never found anything I liked and they seemed to be overpriced for.even.simple items, like a pull over polo shirt.

Dillards has great selection of quality brands. I love shopping here, especially when there are 50-65% off sales. The staff is always helpful and friendly without being pushy.

The selection of goods is good. Cosmetics counter staff were put out to give directions, but the shoe department staff were awesome!
