Dillard's, Altamonte Springs FL

Why do all Dillard’s have that disgusting, musty smell? The clothes I bought from here retained the smell and even made my washer stink. And would it kill you to clean and/or update the fitting rooms? Spending $125+ on a Ralph Lauren shirt and you can’t even provide a fitting room that’s half as nice as competitors? No wonder malls are dying. Deserved death. Totally gross.

From the moment you step foot into the store.strong smell of mold.the ceiling has visible mold on it

Walked in looking for a black button up and ran into employee, Esther Grimont, she was very helpful and led me directly to what I was looking for, very welcoming, easy to talk to and kept a smile on her face. Best customer service I’ve seen in a long time!

I was here in January for my birthday. Montell was very personable with my sister and I. Helped us rang up our purchase when we were being ignored by the sales person in the jewelry department.

Pleasant Store, I enjoy shoes, European clothing, beddings, kitchenware from Dillard’s. Costumer service is top notch. Employees do try their best to make sure you get your money worth visiting this location. Kudos….

We walked in the the men’s department upstairs and the MOLDY smell was so strong my throat started to hurt. And I looked up the ceiling and it is black and mold around the air ducts. We can actually see it. NASTY!
I can’t believe this place is open. Will NEVER come back. I feel bad for the people working there. It’s not good for their health. GEEZ do something!

I’m sorry I really like Dillards, but this location in Altamonte springs smells like Mold! The clothing smells like mold, the building smells like mold. Time to shut down and remodel!

Yulanda in the upstairs lingerie department made our shopping experience really fun! We had just dealt with a rude cashier downstairs, so we were silently going to write off this specific location. But Yulanda was such a joy. She really knows how to make customers feel welcomed, and she's a great conversationalist!

Great place to shop. Will definitely be back. Shopped for my daughter and can't wait till it's my turn

Bought my husband some clothes for his birthday. One of the shirts was too small and apparently it was the only one I bought that was also on clearance. Went to exchange the shirt for something else (that was 20% more expensive). I’d also picked out about $200 in dresses for me. They refused to take the clearance shirt back because it had been 4 days and they only take them back in 3 days. So we left over $250 worth of merchandise behind so that Dillards could stubbornly keep our $35 for a clearance shirt that they still had plenty of on the rack. Will never go back here. This is why I prefer to shop small businesses.

Stale. Musty. Tired. Dillards was once the king of mall based professional clothing. Sadly it is now over priced, generic, and displays basic items that can easily be found online for less. It is no secret that most malls like this are on life support. But. The most priceless item in this store is the fine gentleman from the men’s suits department. He was very attentive in helping us and made a great effort to sell us in his department. I imagine he could do very well in any high end sales career.

I gave four stars because the lack of selections and some things that I was looking at were torn and dirty; I find that everywhere now but, they do have better quality things and decent prices here. They have a great men's department and perfume/cosmetic area. The place smelled great and didn't have a hint of mold/mildew, like some of the reviews complained. Most of the sales employees were really nice and helpful. Bought a gown/tie/shawl for a wedding, and had to order shoes online from them because, they didn't have my big feet size instock! I felt somewhat safe in the parking lot, but I did go mid-day and security was around; you really need to watch yourself everywhere you go these days, think twice about wearing the extra bling, bling, and driving that luxurious car here. The Mall of Millenia too.

Filthy dressing room, over due for painting and carpet was absolutely disgusting. Carpet throughout the store was stained and dirty. For the prices you charge for dresses you definitely need to clean up your dressing rooms.

This was my first time at Dillard's at the Altamonte Mall. We went to the children's shoes section for Stride Rite footwear. They didn't have a big collection but a decent number of good sneakers and shoes. I left there happy with 2 sets of the same type of shoes for my toddlers and 1 pair of sneakers. The customer service reps were excellent and they helped us measure my girls feet and was patient with them. I would definitely come back for more footwear.

Shoe department customer service is completely non existent, I bought this $138 pair of shoes that squeak like crazy, the whole store could hear me walking because the shoes are loud and embarrassing. 3 employees of the customer service department can’t help, they basically said I’m on my own contacting the manufacturer. So there is no backing up the shoe you sell Dillards? There is no customer satisfaction? Ok I’ll contact Sam Edelman myself, no biggie.
