If you want to learn how to paint -this is the class for you. Renee is a terrific patient teacher going at your pace. Oils, acrylic, watercolor and drawing -whatever your interest is or- it may change from month to month. After a few initial paint exercises-you will pick your own subject -whether still life or flowers, western theme or landscapes/portrait-whatever you enjoy. It is a rotating cast of painters at all levels-some of us well over a decade. It is fun and surrounded by passionate and like minded people. I believe Renee has a few classes weekly-I do the Saturday morn class. Check out the class-you will like it.

Renee teaches by enlarging you picture to paint, have you trace it and then paint between the lines. She also will consistently take your paintbrush and paint on your painting. This is something that no teacher should do. How can you learn if you aren't taught how to paint. After 4 classes of her ignoring me and not helping me, she told me to not come back to class. She did not respect my request. That 4 weeks cost me $160. She is a savvy business woman. She charged me $30 foe a the exact paintbrush I could buy at Blick for $8.03. Sorry but can't recommend her. There are other teachers in the Sarasota area. I suggest researching it.
