It's nice to be able to see my doctor over the phone during times like these.
Even after Covid telemed appointments are easier and faster to talk to your doctor.

Great experience. I had a televisit appointment with Dr. Patel about a sore throat. She had me come in to get swabs to test for covid, strep throat, flu. Tests did turnout negative. But I am grateful, she always takes such good care of me.

The doctor seems to care for patient welfare but was very rushed. She talked at us (my wife and I had back to back apoointments) but did not take the time to listen to everything we said. She jumped in and interrupted me several times. If she has so many patients that she can't spend the entire 30 minutes with each of us, there are now two less patients for her to care for.

Dr. Patel squeezed me in for an urgent appointment when I had COVID while 34 weeks pregnant. My heart rate was dangerously high and she referred me to St. Joe’s Women’s hospital to check on my baby, who was okay, thankfully. I hate to think what might have happened if she did not take the extra 15 minutes to see me. I also appreciate the front desk staff who helped get me in as well. This office truly cares about the health of their patients.

No improvement needed. Very good annual health evaluation where there was an exchange of information to help direct my health care.

Dr.patel is very thorough, she LISTENS to you & when i leave her office,
i feel that i have received excellent care.

Dr. Patel was not only late to my appointment, but was very rushed during it. I felt like my health/concerns were a priority to her. When I brought up possible concerns, she just dismissed them and said “she’s been doing this a long time. ” I understand doctors have multiple patients to see in one day, but the lack of genuine

Set an appointment for February 3rd, 2023 and it was not recorded. Called to receive a temporary refill for my prescription until my next appointment and not sure if it will be filled in time. Very disappointed and concerned that I may have to go without my daily pills before my next appointment. Your medical group sets appointments after every visit I have with my primary care, there's no way I set an appointment in my own calendar and somehow it wasn't set with your office. Again, the real concern is that my prescription will run out before the other appointment I set and I was not put in contact with anyone who could guarantee that I will have a temporary refill for the time being. Looking forward to see how your medical group handles this issue and whether I will seek a new medical group in the future.

She was prepared and familiar with my chart, got right to the point and treated me for covid answering my questions fully and addressing my concerns. I was impressed and fully satisfied with Dr. Patel.

PROS: very knowledgeable; holistic.

CONS: very, extremely rushed.

Would talk over me; interrupts.

Goes down a rabbit hole with explanations; causing you to forget premeditated questions as well as questions that would surface during her explanations leaving me very confused and disoriented at the end of the appointment as you have run out of time.

Do NOT mention your symptoms if mild; can end in a misdiagnosis = insurance refusing to pay bill.

Dr Patel reviewed the data and then listened to my comments before making any recommendations, always very informative. The nurse was not very friendly.

Dr. Patel made me feel rushed and confused. I came in for a physical appointment, expressed my concerns about my hair loss and energy levels, and she asks if I get stressed, which I said yes I do. After asking me 3 generic questions, she says I “scored high on depression” and suggested that I get on a pill for anxiety/depression, as if 3 generic questions makes me eligible to get on a pill. Not interested in people pushing me to get on pills after 5 minutes of “getting to know me. ”
After 5-10 mins of rushed conversation, she said she would order labs for my thyroid and a preventative STD panel. She then hurriedly leaves, and the nurse begins venting to me about how she’s a float and is “SO confused how this system works. ” She kept going on and on about how she didn’t know why the system was so hard to navigate, which I had no idea how to respond to. Was completely unprofessional.
I then go to Quest (as directed), fast, do the blood work, only to find out that they tested me for 1 STD and no other tests that were promised. A complete waste of my time.
I shouldn’t have even been charged for this “office visit, ” as I came in for a physical. Dr. Dipali told me mid-appointment that this “isn’t a physical because you came in with issues to talk about. ” Made no sense. Completely unsatisfied with my time and energy with Baycare, and especially this doctor.

Dr. Patel took the time to talk to me, did a thorough assessment and answered all my questions.

Dr Patel is so detailed! There’s really no wait time when you do the preregistration online or text which ever way you communicate with them!

I really appreciate she was concerned about me as a whole and really investigated my health maintenance. She is very thorough and it shows she cares as a primary care physician.
