Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Lake Buena Vista FL

The room was great and the aesthetic is wonderful. It's like you stepped back in time when you walk in the lobby. I don't know what smell they pump in the lobby but it's wonderful. Unfortunately some of the stores and restaurants were closed due to Covid bit I can't knock a star off due to that. We will definitely be coming back here and hopefully one day will have our DVC here. You can't beat the convenience of this place as it's a 5ish minute walk to Epcot and the skyliner. It's also only a few minute walk to the boat for Hollywood Studios.

My wife and I only used the pool because we were meeting family there but it was very nice and had all the amenities - my family was very pleased with their stay here so I think that it is a good choice if your interested

Given the current atmosphere the Staff at Boardwalk Villas are doing a great job. Friendly employees who were adhering to all COVID GUIDELINES.

The Hotel is amazing and if you want there is no reason to go anywhere. Plenty of amenities and Food options available just outside on the Boardwalk.

If you are going to visit the parks it's a 15 minute walk to Epcot or the water taxi is right outside which will take you to Epcot, Disney Studios, the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. The skyway is a short walk which will also get you to the other parks except Epcot.

The Boardwalk Bakery, excellent pastries and sandwiches and the Big River Grille also offers some great food.

So whether you just want an excellent hotel to spend all your time or a base for your Disney Parks this hotel deserves some serious consideration.

Rented a 1 bed room DVC unit at cash rate. Room was clean and in great shape. I booked the room online using my disney dvc account. Checked in, everything went well. The day before checkout we received a text that the $25 for parking for our last night wouldn't process because we didn't authorize our credit card to be used for purchases. As a dvc member I'm not accustomed to paying for parking so I didn't know about this cost. I'm not sure how they knew I parked a car because no one asked about it when I checked in so why did they automatically try to bill me? If they knew I had a car, why didn't they bill me for parking at check in? Finally, as a DVC member who booked his room through my disney account I shouldn't have been billed to stay at a DVC resort regardless of method of payment.

All in all, I can no longer recommend going to disney for a family vacation. The focus used used to be providing more than the guest expects at disney world, but over the last 7 plus years the focus seems to be more and more on extracting as much money as possible.

I never thought I would say this, but I think it's time to sell my DVC because I don't think I ever want to go back.

This was a clean facility, your food came fast, taste delicious, the characters were fantastic, but the bus boy was hilarious.everyone is extremely friendly! Well worth the money! >3

Very nice rooms and vacation club suites. Great views, pools and location between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Plenty of nice restaurants along the boardwalk too.

The DVC members we were with had an issue they tried to get addressed and staff initially did not want to cooperate until shown the evidence of the issue.

Lots of great memories here. The only thing that bothered me is once you get on to the boardwalk, the restaurants in the area are very pricey for example $8.95 for a slice of pizza? Hotel room is fine.

The employees and atmosphere were wonderful. To get to our room, we had to go down a narrow winding hallway that just kept going. A child or someone elderly wouldn't have been able to make such a trek.

We're booked here until April 2nd. My children and I LOVE it here. They have a fishing dock, we have double balconies and the pool is right behind our unit!

I’m a big fan of all Disney resorts and I especially like the boardwalk.
It is really convenient to walk to Epcot!
I love the restaurants especially Trattoria al Forno.
If you don’t wanna walk to Epcot you can take a friendship boat. Also, you can take a friendship boat to Hollywood studios or walk!

Nobody helped us with our luggage. Concierge rolled his eyes at me when I politely asked him how to find my room since I have never been here before. Got to our room and it was dark and it smells musty. Bed is hard. Carpet looks worn. Right next to loud children in the pool can't even open the curtains. The air system is ancient. The bathroom is dark and the fan in there is loud. The TV is so old you can cast to it and none of the plugs work except the one in the bathroom. DO NOT COME HERE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

First time staying at Disney’s Boardwalk resort. It was nice being there and it not being overly packed. Some nights only be a few people walking around. Loved the atmosphere especially outside by the lake. Easy walk to Epcot and The Skyliner. Kudos to all the cast members for for their hard work keeping everything clean and keeping everyone safe during this pandemic.

Beautiful villas! An absolute must if you can afford it. The price is absurd but if you can split it with another couple then PERFECT!

Disney is great, but the experience is not up to standards all across wdw. Let's hope they get back to their past standards soon. And end the mask mandate

My favorite Disney hotel so far. The rooms are a little in need of TLC, but super comfortable and the hotel is beautiful. Super convenient to walk to Hollywood Studios and Epcot without having to rely on transportation. Our studio faced the Luna Park Pool and we had a wonderful view of the Tower of Terror.

Due to COVID, a lot of the shops and restaurants are closed, however it’s easy to walk to Epcot and get delicious food and drinks at the food kiosks. France has the best food and it’s right there at the entrance.
