Disney's Hollywood Studios reviews
25Galaxy's Edge is probably the best attraction experience here. If you like Star Wars and Toy Story you should plan a visit
Everything here is amazing! There are so many roller coasters and everything here is a must! My 2 favorite attractions have to be Tower of Terror and Rock-n-Roll Coaster. 10/10 experience.
Tons of fun, especially the Star wars area. Get the app to get into the bar and on the ride which requires a reservation. Unfortunately, we did not get either as the demand was too high. But we get into the bar anyway as they had openings at 930 am. Lots of fun non alcoholic drinks and fun atmosphere.
I have to admit this is a place that never sleeps.
Rides are clean, walk ways every morning are spotless and repairs are made at night. YOU WILL NEVER SEE A MAINTENANCE OR MECHANIC walking the park and if they are there in plain clothes.
Lines move fast so there is no issue there.
Dinning is made by reservation only
So (RESERVE YOUR TABLE IN ADVANCE ON THE APP)
10/11/2018 was a tough day at Hollywood Studios. Since getting Fast Passes for the new Toy Story Land rides was an impossibility, we had both our morning Fast Passes for Rock'n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. Upon arriving at the park, BOTH rides are down! So now you have to decide, do you switch the FPs to something else (, and OF COURSE you can't switch it to the new Toy Story Land rides) and then have to do Standby for RRC and TOT, or wait and hope they come back up? We decided to wait and basically just sat around until noon when they came back up. We got in line for RRC, and the FP line was almost as long as standby because everyone flocked over there when they saw they were back available. We got all the way to the take-off, and it went down AGAIN. The Disney staff at least gave us 2 FP replacements for the inconvenience, but by the time they extricated us from the ride, all 1000 people from RRC had fled to TOT and the FP line there was a nightmare. We did FINALLY manage to get everything done plus we got the extra FP which we used to get better seating at Fantasmic. But overall the experience definitely fell short of Disney standards.
Lines were too long. We did not do our homework to know that they recommended you schedule the things you want to do. A lot of walking.
As a kid I remember this park being one of my favorite parks to visit with my parents. I probably should have did a little more research before traveling 800 miles away from home to be disappointed. I spent $200 on tickets for me and my daughter.only for most of everything I remember to be gone. It’s basically “star wars” land with a handful of rides. I basically paid a lot of money to walk around and look at gift shops. There was nothing really for me and my daughter to do and a lot of the Park was under construction. We left the park within about 4 hours because there was nothing left to do. I called Disney to try to see if I could finish out the day at another park and tell them about how disappointed I was with my experience and the response I got was I needed to pay an additional $70 for the park hopper option per person.so my money and my day was wasted and we ended up just spending the evening at our hotel.
We always make it a point to visit Hollywood studios when we go to Disney. The shows are great as well as the rides. Toy story land was really cool, which makes me even more excited to see star wars world when it opens. Tower of terror, rockin rollercoaster, and star tours are easily the top three rides. Sad to see the great movie ride was no longer there, it will be greatly missed.
Well thought out and very nice. Food way above par for an amusement park. Handle crowds very well. Try hard to make everything right.
Watch out for rain. Better not go if it's raining. It's the ultimate s**t show if it rains there. If you're staying at Disney Springs area hotels, there's no roof to cover your from the rain while waiting for your hotel bus + erratic and unreliable schedule. Although there is a bus every 30 minutes but the time frame erratically moves. They said every: 05 and: 35 of the hour but that's not just true. My bus arrived: 48 so I'm soaking wet!
Sure you can get everything done in half a day, but there's a lot of fun to be had at Hollywood Studios!
Not being a super fan of the franchise I really enjoyed the Star Wars rides and shows they do here. The muppet show was a blast from the past. The other attractions were okay. Enjoyed our character dinner as well.
The flite is at Baseline in Disney Hollywood. Fun place. Could use better signs. But still magical.
We had a really great time at Disney's Hollywood Studios. All of the shows were top notch. There are not very many rides, but rockin rollercoaster and hollywood tower of terror were amazing. This is by far the smallest of the Disney World parks, but that will be changing as they open toy story land later this year and star wars land next year. In the end, there is a reason this park has shorter hours. We arrived at 9am and left around 7pm because we had seen all of the attractions. However, we still had a lot of fun and it was a great experience!
Disney, what happened to the Magic? Starting to feel like a bad parody of "The Santa Clause 3". Multiple bag and metal detector checks. I think the bag check is to see how much money you have to spend. The old saying "best day ever " has been replaced by "most expensive day ever ".
While taking a rest sat and watched the faces of guests and staff, only 1 in 30 was actually smiling.
Only 4 rides here as of writing this, and I'm too tall for one of them. Star Tours remains a favorite, Midway Mania is a blast, and Tower of Terror, while still fun, is feeling a bit dated. Not a great park right now for adults, but this will surely change when Toy Story Land and Galaxy's Edge open.
The park is going through so many changes.you can feel construction during your visit but they are trying hard to make it a great park. Star wars ride was up dated.it is better.
If you are reading this after Summer of 2018 then disregard and look for current updates. While this park is still amazing and wonderful, they currently have very little to do in the park with current closures and renovations. Once Toy Story Land opens in Summer 2018 and Star Wars World opens in 2019 this will be the park that is jammed to the gills
My son got sick here. The people at first aid were great, so was castmate Darby at the nearby store. Made a tough situation much better. Thanks.
Hollywood studios is currently my favorite park of the whole WDW resort. While the rest of the parks are awesome, Hollywood studios has that great retro LA feel that I love and a bunch of cool rides based on entertainment that doesn’t feel shoved in and has its place there. Tower of terror, Aerosmith’s rocking roller coaster, star tours, muppetvision, all are awesome choices to choose from in the park. I would recommend holding back your trip to 2019 though as they are planning to open up the new Star Wars land around that time. Great park. Fully recommend.
