Dive Outpost, Live Oak FL

As always, we love coming to Dive Outpost to see Adam, Kate, and their beautiful Shepherd.they have always been our go-to dive, one-stop shop.accommodations, gear sales, rentals, local knowledge, and good conversation.we've been so many times that I'd like to consider them as friends rather than just owners of our favorite dive shop in the area. I can't wait to be back again soon! Coffee is hot, drinks are cold, gas is priced accordingly along with the wide selection of gear they carry. Thanks again for being our fortress of solitude in cave country!

Kate the shop manager was amazing! Great deal on Mask, Fins, Snorkel rental! And I got a great pair of Hammerhead Fins! Great deal! We had all our questions about nearby springs answered, very informative and cool! Great stop before going cave or spring swimmingthey also provide top quality diving tips and gearThank you Kate!

Excellent service, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The dog barks, but is such a sweetheart, just give her a rub behind the ears. Could not ask for a better dive shop, very close to peacock. Was concerned when cathy left, but her successors are carrying on the tradition that this destination has become famous for. Will gladly stop in here in the future.

Best dive shop in North Florida from scuba diving gear n air to a wonderful spot to stay while traveling. The shop has all types of dive gear for those who left stuff at-home to if you want to start diving. Springs n river are right there for beautiful setting for any great memories. Staff is friendly and helpful busy bees might need a new staff member so they can take a break thier a power couple who does it all.

Nice shop, lots of really cool decorations. Full service for anything you need for cave diving.

Stopped here to grab a tank and some fins on a trip to peacock. Wonderful lil shop with a charming atmosphere and fantastic service. This is the gold standard of dive shops. Their dog is the sweetest and I enjoyed giving her some dried fish snacks! The owner was very informative and helpful, and I was happy to spend my money here. Will definitely be returning on future trips!

Very helpful, courteous staff! They took time to give us lots of information, talked to my kids about all their trinkets, and even told us some great local spots!

Kate and Adam, it was great to meet you both. Your shop was really cool and had lots of gear. Thank you Kate for helping me pick out the best light for Cavern dives. Thank you Adam for the correct and quick fills that we needed.

Both Kate and Adam were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Shop had places to sit outside and visit with other divers. The shop was organized and clean. They do have restrooms which are clean too.

Overall, I would recommend this shop to all divers and my buddies.

They totally screwed up my dive experience. Big waste of time and money. Their buddies apparently pump in the 5 star reviews so BEWARE. Much better options exist.

This is place is not the same as it was. And it should not be the same as it has different owners who need to make it their own. However, Adam is extremely rude and has literally trained his dog to charge and bark and grow at customers.his dog did this to me while I was carrying scuba tanks. He then told his Dog "good job". This place is not welcoming in the least bit. One day that dog will bite the wrong person and you will get a lovely lawsuit or someone may shot the dog in self defense. But I am sure you will shoot that person as well as you like to intimidate folks by talking and pointing to your sidearms, Which is ok. The gun is not the issue, I love guns, just stating a fact, So, when that happens a new owner will emerge and hopefully make this a more welcoming place. I don't understand how this dog has bit customers, and one person twice and yet nothing changes. I am more than Happy to go to Jim Hollis or drive to Amigos or Cave Country. Your prices and place has so much potential, but your customer service, attitude, rudeness and aggression towards paying customers is appalling. This is not right and remember, the Dog is not the Issue, there are no Bad Dogs, Only Bad owners and trainers. EDIT. You say you train the dog to bark and not bite, fine. You still train the DOG to show Aggression and use it as a toll for intimidation to your paying customers, out of your own admission.

They were knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed what they did. Definitely would recommend going.

The people are extremely friendly, but the prices are outrageous. $9 per tank rental, but that is for an empty tank. You have to pay another $7 per tank to have them fill it. I have never seen a dive shop not include the full tank when you rent it. I will be perfectly clear, that I did have a seal that detiorated and I came back to the shop where they put a new one of my bcd. I paid for the part and the guy put the seal on the inflator to make sure I fit before I purchased the parts.

Hands down the best place I could have asked for when coming to the area! The location was peaceful and very comfortable. The owners are top notch. There should be an option for a 6 star rating, as Dive Outpost deserves it! Will most definitely stay again, and recommend to all my fellow divers/friends!

A buddy and I stopped in to get some air and O2 fills on our way to do some exploring. We were welcomed in with lots of information about the area and surrounding dive sites as we are out of state. The owners were super friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. We ended up coming back and renting a cabin for the night so we could explore again the next day. Rooms were clean and well takin care of. Along with being cheaper than finding a hotel in a near by town. Its a secluded area for divers to have a great experience. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!
