This place and the staff are amazing. We had a hard time finding a place to board our Amstaff Bully when we moved to the area from Arizona. Diversity K9 services have been a huge blessing for us. Their staff knows how to work with our pup. He's a rescue and was mistreated by his previous owners, so he's not very trusting of strangers. The staff makes him feel comfortable, and he enjoys staying with them, and that makes us super happy. Our Roscoe means the world to our family, and we are glad he is well taken care of when we need to board him. I recommend Diversity k9 services all the time.

So much room & encouragement for the dogs to play. The staff was professional and also sent videos of my dog playing while I was traveling which was so huge in making me feel he was good. Tracy the owner is just an awesome person & so passionate about helping dogs & owners succeed. Highly recommend.

We’ve had two of our dogs trained at Diversity K9 (shout out to Nicole!) and always board them here, knowing they’re safe and well cared for. Would highly recommend all their services!

Tracey is amazing, extremely patient and send lots of videos and pics during the 3 weeks Ellie was doing board and train with her. I feel very comfortable leaving Ellie, she has been doing so much better with her behavior post training, albeit it's an ongoing process. I have also learned a lot as an owner on how to handle a reactive/anxious dog. Tracey is always accessible during my time away from Ellie, eased my concerns and answered questions with patience and knowledge. I highly recommend!

This time last year I adopted a Border Collie puppy and named her Veda. She is the fourth Border Collie that my family has raised and she is brilliant to say the least. We began noticing "triggers" around four months old and most weren't anything that we had seen with our other Borders. Veda would bark at trash cans being taken to the curb, nip at a can when it was taken out to the refrigerator, and bark at the nugget ice maker. Things began to feel out of control and I knew that we needed proper training and guidance. I reached out to Diversity K9 based on a reference from a dear friend and I am so glad that I did!

Veda and I began our training journey with Nicole and from our initial "meet and greet" I knew that she would be phenomenal. Nicole helped me understand more about the breed and what makes Veda who she is. We began working on building her confidence through one-on-one sessions and things began to fall into place.

Nicole and I discussed the board and train program and decided it would be best for Veda. She spent three weeks at Diversity K9 working with Nicole. In that time she became treat motivated (which is quite helpful now), learned to walk properly on a leash, learned how to focus during stressful/ "triggering" situations, learned recalls and so much more. It has been a little over a month and a half since I brought Veda home and I am still seeing improvement each day. Veda will attend daycare weekly and we plan on participating in agility training at DK9. We will continue to work with Nicole and DK9 for many years to come!

Don't wait, your dog is worth it!

I can’t say enough good things about Diversity K9 and Tracy especially! I recently adopted a shmedium-sized, mixed breed puppy (Charlotte), and as she was settling in she was barking and lunging at new things more and more. I knew a little bit of her background and worried she was lacking confidence from under exposure. I did 3 evaluations with 3 different trainers/companies to make an informed decision, and Tracy absolutely stood out as the trainer I wanted to work with. In just a short time with Charlotte she could tell that her behaviors were coming from insecurity and talked with me at length about what training would look like for that.

Though I was dreading the thought of being away from her, I opted for the board & train to help her get as much exposure as possible. It’s the best decision I could have made for her! Tracy sent me updates every few days, did private sessions once a week so I could see my sweet girl, and absolutely eased my mind in every way. Charlotte wasn’t just doing well in training, she also absolutely loves Tracy! I think it really says something when your pup not only listens and learns from their trainer but also totally adores them.

After her training she walks on the leash amazing, has excellent recall, and no longer “screams” at new people and other pups (which in itself is a huge feat for her). We’ve kept up with her training by practicing what Tracy taught us and she’s doing so amazing. We get compliments all the time on how well she heels, how well she listens, and how well she practices self control around new people & dogs now. We’ve done our free tune up sessions from board & train and Charlotte is always so happy to see her favorite trainer Tracy I think it’s also important to know how patient Tracy is with ME! I get overwhelmed easily and will often trip up on what I should be doing and Tracy never made me feel dumb or like I was failing - she just told me what I should and could do and helped me along the way. She’s been so encouraging with both me and my pup. She really is so easy to talk to. I think in a world of trainers that often shame people for not being their best, Tracy really stands out as a trainer that is there for you and your pup. I really can’t stress what a relief this is for me because it truly helps me be my best for pup.

I had crossed paths with Tracy and her team a handful of times in the past, as I volunteer in a dog rescue and they do a lot of work with rescues - but having my own experience really shone a light on just how great her and her whole team are. I always used to scoff when people said things like training can be fun, but I’m actually having a lot of fun with my pup training! We’re signed up for the Canine Good Citizen courses next and we can’t wait to get to work! Pictures of Charlotte at her favorite training facility

I see them working with the dogs daily and they seem so patient and caring. I used them to board my two dogs and I loved their reception and also the fact my dogs could board together.

Boarded our dogs here while we went on a cruise, always felt happy with our decision and knew they were in good hands. Definitely will return if we need to board again.

Diversity K9 is on its own level of awesome. Tracy & her team are true experts & it’s the only place I will ever trust to train or board our golden retriever Pup. We have had him stay here back when he was a few months old & eventually did a board & train when he turned 2. I was almost in tears when we were able to walk him without pulling for the first time, and over his impulse control since we’ve gotten him after his board and train. Our pup can also get pretty anxious when we leave him, but he is completely comfortable / loves coming here, & I know he is in the greatest hands. This gives so much peace of mind when leaving.

My family has also worked with Tracy & her team for years with our German Shepherds, with the exact same experiences.

I cannot thank you enough Tracy & the Diversity K9 team! Only place in Central FL to consider when training or caring for your pup.

Tracy and her team are true experts. We had our dog board and get trained as we travelled out of the country for a month. During the process Tracy would text or whatsapp every 2-3 days with updates and videos. She even told us that our dog was fully trained almost 1 week earlier then her boarding time. Once we returned she met with us for over an hr to walk though commands and show us results. My dog was fully trained in 4 weeks and as we stick to the process we have had no issues in doing walks. Our dog also learned here, place and free. I would highly recommend Diversity K9 and Tracy.

We love Diversity K9. We board for all our trips! Our one girl is so nervous and anxious but they are great with her and never have a problem! Our big boy loves all the love and attention he gets. They are always accommodating and our babies come home happy and healthy! We also did some training with them when the puppies were younger and they helped make our lives much easier!
We wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Diversity K9 provided a 30 day Board and Train Service for our Potcake (Pit mix) Abbey- whom we rescued from Abaco, Bahamas. If I could give a 10 star rating, I would- Tracy Cooksey was our trainer and she provided continuous updates on our sweet Abbey’s progress to include videos- Tracy has an amazing talent / skill with training various breeds of dogs. Day of pick up, I could immediately see how happy Abbey was in the presence of all staff members at Diversity K9 (she was a very scared rescue puppy). I was so skeptical about which Board and Train facility to utilize but Tracy Cooksey set me at ease during the initial evaluation and exceeded my expectations. My experience has been so positive that we also utilize the Diversity K9 facility for Daycare and Boarding- weekly- driving an hour each way from Merritt Island, Florida. My husband and I both travel extensively for work so our Abbey is a frequent flyer of Diversity K9. Abbey has come home very happy and relaxed after each visit. We look forward to Abbey seeing her friends several days per week for play and socialization. Exceptional service, compassionate, understanding and accommodating- all describe this facility. Thank you Diversity K9!

Nicole has worked wonders in just two short weeks of having my new pup Maya at the facility! Nicole’s amazing training and tips have improved my life as a new puppy parent. If Maya ever needs any more touch ups, I’ll know who to call. Thank you tons.

20+ days being skeptical that the idea that board and train programs actually work. This was our last shot before giving him back to the breeder his aggression was just progressing from dogs to humans at 10 months old we had no clue what to do with our pit chow mix. Needless to say we picked him up today after spending the past 3-4 weeks with KayLeigh at Diversity K9 and he’s done a complete 180. He’s gone from this overprotective disobedient dog to a relaxed dog who’s just aware of his surroundings. It’ll always be a constant thing to work on but thanks to KayLeigh and her personal dog we are so far ahead of the game and I can now continue training at home and perfect everything she’s taught us.

Tracy literally saved us from possibly having to give up our lovely dog. We were at our wits end when our dog started all of a sudden being aggressive with other dogs to the point where I was no longer comfortable walking her. Tracy took time and got to know the dog and spoke with us. She was comforting and let us know that her behavior can be retrained and why. She gave us things to work on and told us things we change ASAP that helped instantly. We had her boarded and trained for 10 days. Tracy worked with her everyday and sent us pics and videos along with how she was progressing. We could see the difference during our first walk with her after we picked her up. Tracy worked with us on how to handle the dog during follow up sessions and now I’m able to walk my dog again with confidence! Cookie always loves going back there, which means Tracy and her staff treated her great! We highly recommend Diversity K9 for training and boarding!

We have boarded my dogs here forever! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. They are easy to get a hold of and have fair pricing! My dogs always come home exhausted! Sending big dogs to daycare can sometimes be challenging, but Tracy and her amazing staff are outstanding every time!
