My divorce was probably the most stressful time in my life. I made the wrong decision at the beginning to represent myself. It wasn’t till I was out 10k + and not being able to overcome all the legal hurdles the other attorney had placed for me to lose custody of my kids and even the right to make a point in front of the judge. It’s hard to fight when the opposing attorney goes golfing with the judge.

So i decided to call Cabanas Law Firm. The peace of mind Sergio and all of the staff gave me has no price. Let’s just say when the other attorney saw that i was represented by Cabanas. He quickly wanted to change his tune.

Also, I got a loan through my bank to pay for the services. Once the divorce was settled I received a check for the difference from the retainer. It wasn’t much but it’s nice to know that they aren’t keeping my money. They only billed what was needed to get the job done.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is facing family legal issue.

Let me save you the hassle of shopping around. If anyone offers you a cheap divorce. They probably won’t even show up to a hearing. I was that cheap person in the beginning and it cost me 10k, sleepless nights, my parental rights, and the worst of all was that the judge made me pay for her attorney when I didn’t even have one to begin with. So don’t get made when your $500 divorce attorney. Ends up with you losing everything.

Sergio and his team made me no promises. But they always told me what my true options were at all times.

I’m old school and I was raised on integrity and realistic expectations.

The most TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ever; if you're seeking a better option, avoid this company. They charge exorbitantly and exploit you financially. If you're in search of an affordably and truthful attorney, this firm is definitely not the one. I turned to another lawyer and achieved the same, if not more, for 75% less than what this firm is demanding. Disregard the false reviews; those are individuals likely placed by the firm to please others. I am earnestly cautioning anyone out there – they extracted $5,800 from me in three weeks. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and talked to someone from accounting, they withdrew from my case without any explanation.

I do not use to write reviews, but this case is different, Cabanas Law not only offer a good service, they go beyond. I am the dad of 2 beautiful girls, and recently my wife and I decided to finish our relationship after almost 17 years of marriage. As hard as a divorce is, we found in Cabanas Law Office the support that made this difficult decision become an easy process, we decided to move forward with an Uncontested Divorce, once we agreed on all the required aspects of the agreement and stam our signatures, we were officially divorced in only 2 and a half business days, yes, you are reading right, 2 and a half business days, maybe this is a new record.

Please be aware of this fraudulent law firm. I don't recommend this Firm to absolutely No one! Not even to the people that have “money”. I’m speaking from the bottom of my heart!
I started with a consultation with Sergio that costed $350, I told him from the start that I can not afford to pay 8k-10k and he said "let’s not hope we get to mediation” might have been a “Red flag” looking back now.
After that Consultation, the retainer cost me $3500. I couldn't believe how fast $3500 had evaporated on the first week, which is what they don’t tell you. The lady that has you signed the retainer does not break anything down to you. Believe me when I tell you that they will call you every 8-10 days after 5pm to replenish their account with your money. This law firm has left me with zero dollars in my account knowing how much I make weekly. I paid 13k and nothing got done. This is what Brian Prieto sent via email after we spoke about timesharing 2 months prior

"We are currently trying to get a date set to have established timesharing. We will continue to diligently work on this and update you once we have a date.

In the meantime, please update us with any changes or mother's antics.

Prolonging at its best. After I decided to withdraw them from my case (which they charged) they purposely did not send the motion of withdraw to the judge through the right channel “Court Maps”to then charge me again, at that point I only had $700 to then have $250.
One thing for sure I was lied to and deceived.
My experience with them has been by far the worst experience of my life. I honestly mean that. Week to week I made payments thinking it was for the right cause, you know for my daughter’s custody, but these crooks take advantage of that. And like another man said on his review “Don't be fooled by those fake 5 starts reviews”. "They even have those printed on the walls of their offices”
