Dixie Pig Bar-B-Q, Oakland Park FL

Lived in South FL for 40 years and it was the 1st time I've been there, thanks to Dad! It did not disappoint! Had the pulled pork and fries special with a side of hush puppies. Everything was delicious including the sauces! YUM! The hush puppies are on point too! It was a stormy afternoon but nothing was gonna stop us from finishing our meal. Because it's an outdoor patio, it gets a little wet at the outer tables. Services was A+

People this is the best BBQ place. They have the best food and the service is outstanding. I have never ate like I did before please go try their barbecue food. Excellent Place. This is like the old days barbecue place.

I've yet to find a bbq restaurant that has better bbq than Tom Jenkins, I'd hoped this place would be it but it's not. It's good but not outstanding like Tom Jenkins is, but the service at Dixie is amazing.

Great food and atmosphere. Outside sitting but plenty of fans. Great ribs and pulled brisket and mac n cheese was great.

St Louis half rack or rib tips, can't go wrong. The collard greens are very good, not salty and are full of flavor. The black eyed peas are excellent with a subtle cumin flavor.

Absolutely cannot go wrong coming here and the prices are reasonable.

I went here for lunch today at 1245pm on a Friday.
No line and I was able to get a Parking space and place my order immediately.
I ordered the half of slab of ribs with 2 sides, collard green, mac&cheese and cornbread.
The turn around time was about 12 minutes.
The food was hot & fresh and tasted delicious.
I was very satisfied with this BBQ Joint.
I highly recommend.

Great food, friendly service, great sweet tea. I had the rib tips, it was raining hard and the lot was flooded.

Goood! I ordered on doordash and I was shocked I got the 1/4 chicken (8.5/10) and rib tips (9/10). Side bake beans (7.8/10) and mash potatoes (10/10) the GRAVY on that mash was delicious. Best mash I’ve had. So much food for the price. The bbq sauce was really good the bomb (10/10). The service was fast and when I got my food it was still nice and hot. I have to come sit in here and eat.

Service was great but good wasn't. Tips so burnt and hard. I didn't care for the flavor, it felt good was left over, old and chewy. Portions generous but I threw away left overs

Its a shack with no walls that has been there probably 60 years. I reccomend the bbq. Despite the name they also have very tasty beef and chicken. I enjoyhaving dining in for lunch here weekly at one of the picnic tables. I can only say good things which does t happen too often.

Nice little barbecue place. Had the pulled pork sandwich served with cole slaw, fries and a variety of barbecue sauces which was good. Lots of of other menu items too. Good, quick, friendly service.

Good food. Have driven by several times but never stopped. I'm glad I did. The menu on Goggle is incorrect, however. Would eat there on the next trip in town.

It's a bit divie but we drove by and that smell lured us in hard! It was completely random we were in the area, but now we are going to make an effort to keep going there. The food was amazing, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Damn, I'm getting hungry thinking about it lol.

It's been 12 years since I've been here an it tastes even better than I remember you can't go wrong here. Hands down the BEST bbq Ever!
