Doc's Beach House, Bonita Springs FL

It's okay. It's a cash only place that doesn't have soft drink refills and tends to nickle and dime you. However it is decent bar food with a great view and good staff. Definitely a beach bar (and limited parking space, however the free valet counters that negative)

Don't say it is one fish when it is another. Bartender Jo Jo stated fish was fresh and all fish not named is grouper. No it wasnt. When I complained I was ignored. Then when I again said it was not grouper she said, 'I ONLY TELL YOU WHAT I AM TOLD TO TELL YOU". It was disgusting whatever it was but it sure wasnt grouper.

First time here, you have to have cash for all purchases but don’t worry they have an atm!
I had the Grilled Fish Salad $14.99 the salad is nice with a freshly cooked piece of grouper on top! Delish

This was disappointing, but since we come from Chicago our expectations are high

Food was delicious but i felt kind of discriminated when a guy was giving away keychains and me and my daughter were the only ones who didn't received any, i have to say everybody who received one was American, we are Latins, that was this past Labor Day.

We've been there twice. Food mediocre. Service mediocre. Cash only, no credit cards. Although the do have a nice view of the beach/sunset, there are better places to eat.

Very Quick service. The server who took our order was super pleasant and helpful. The food was done quickly. Very reasonable prices. Food was yummy!

The general consensus from my daughter and the two other couples sitting close by was that the food is just okay. It's convenient when you're on the beach but the food is just okay.

Doc's is a "must go" every time we visit Fort Myers. The food is average, but the surroundings are what you go for! Tables on the beach, with outside service of both food and drinks. Beach access and valet parking! The only downfall is that they are cash only, but have a couple of ATMs on site. Being in the service industry I feel the employees would make more money if they accepted credit! They also offer jetski, beach chair, umbrella, and parasailing rentals. Great place!

If you’re desiring a place for a drink or something to fuel you’re body while on Bonita Beach, this is it!

Pros: service, variety of food and seating, price, portions, flavor, friendly staff, and valet.

Cons: I didn’t know about it sooner.

Sit at the beach under an umbrella, inside at the bar or upstairs in the air conditioning. Great views of the water and family welcomed!

Great burgers. In you plan on eating inside then upstairs is nicer with better views of the beach. They are cash only, but they have an ATM if needed. I love that they have valet parking since parking is sometimes difficult on the beach. I've been a couple of times for lunch. The service and food was good both times.

It was Cash Only when we went. Seat yourself. Very understaffed.seen multiple people waiting for checks.seen multiple people sit then just get up and leave. Air conditioning on 2nd floor not on 1st. Great location, just needs some changes.

Considering I don't get to the beach very often as a local, but the service was great and it's a great reminder that I need to go more often.

This is a great place to eat if you are already at the beach. Food was good, cooked to order. I had shrimp tacos and hubby had the burger with a fried egg, both were tasty. Good bar drinks with very good variety. The beach right in front of this location rents chairs and umbrellas and various watercraft. I wouldn't visit this place as a destination to eat as parking is just too limited there and around the vicinity as it is a popular beach. If you are at the beach in this area, this is your place

Underwhelming and over priced. Got a $15 fish sandwich that I couldn't even finish due to how bland it was. Fries were soggy and limp. The Miami Vice cocktail was ok at best, but $10 for a nearly non alcoholic frozen drink was a bit upsetting. $7 for a glass of literally the worst grocery store wine you can get (Barefoot) is robbery.

This place was super busy and I have no idea why; maybe the view. We got here and it was impossible to tell if you seat yourself or wait. While we were figuring out out the bartender came and seated us. Then we waited and waited. We read the menus at the table and figured out what we wanted. Then we waited some more. No one ever came to our table to serve us. I didn't see much in the way of staff either. After about 20 minutes, we left. I understand they were busy, but having worked as a server, I feel that 20 minutes is too long to leave a table just sitting.

Clearly they won't starve without my business, but be warned.don't go here expecting great service.or, as in my case, service at all.

While visiting Bonita Springs, I went to Docs Beach house as I couldn't get any beach parking at Bonita bch. They didn't offer parking for the beach so I had breakfast there then spend a few mins on the beach. I ordered oatmeal to go, had it on the beach. The location is perfect, oatmeal was ok, toast was a bit burnt and the cashier was friendly. I tipped the valet $10.00. I would go back to watch the sunset there due to its location

Very nice place! The good was good and filling the view was great and the staff very friendly. They do offer complementary vale parking which is a plus.
