Worst customer service ever- I will be changing this pediatrician asap- total disorganization- they fight with you on the phone & don’t know what’s going on- I’m very concerned!

I have called 4 times to get my son's medical records transferred to a new pediatrician. Every time I call, they give me a new reason as to why I can't get them or why they cannot fax them over to the new pediatrician. My son is a month behind on seeing a doctor now because they don't have access to his records. When I called again for my new reason, the lady at the desk hung up on me. It genuinely sounds like they don't know what they're doing so they make excuses.
I know they're not too busy-read the other reviews on how many people won't go there again.
As for Maria, she's a good doctor and very kind. She needs new staff or they're going to run her practice in the ground.

Dr Doherty is a great doctor. A real brooksville OG. She was my mother in law’s choice of pediatrician when my husband and his sisters were kids, and dr Doherty remembers them all. One thing I really like about dr Doherty is she trusts that parents know what’s best for their own children. She does not pressure or try to force you to do things you are not comfortable with. Some doctors have a god complex and are very dismissive, rude, and pushy, and they put profit over patient. She is not like that at all.

She embodies what it is to be passionate about pediatrics and truly cares for her patients and her employees. Some of the women she has working in her office have been with her for many, many years and she treats all of them well. Her entire practice feels like a big family. One of her employees has been with her basically since the beginning, and as she began to get into her old age her memory started to decline, which I also noticed during one of our appts. It was obvious the entire office staff were aware and were doing their best. During that visit we saw dr Doherty very lovingly talking to her employee, handing her supplements for cognitive function and telling her how she wants her to take good care of herself so she can stick around for a long time and that the supplements would help keep her mind sharp. At the time, I joked to my husband about the situation but honestly, it is a very admirable thing. It really shows the love and loyalty she has to her employees, and she is like that with her patients too. She takes good care of them.

I’ve been bringing my kids to her since my first child was born. As a new mom, I was paranoid and very over protective. I had bad prior experiences with other doctors that were aggressive and pushy and being a new young mom I was always on the defense, ready to defend my choices to raise my kids in a more natural, holistic way. I was so distrusting I wouldn’t even let the nurses go weigh one of my kids in one room while I stayed with my other child in the next room Now looking back all those years ago, I can see that dr Doherty and her staff recognized that new mom fear and showed me a lot of grace. They did a great job putting up with me

We still use dr Doherty as our pediatrician and will continue to do so as long as she’s in practice. Say what you want about her phone lines being busy sometimes (call the other office) or that the waiting room is outdated (so what), but you can’t truly say a single bad thing about her as a person or her character. She is genuinely a lovely lady and is an excellent role model, especially to little girls and young women.

The staff is amazing especially Maria. She is always friendly and treats my son amazing. Dr. Doherty is also amazing always listens to my concerns and addressing them right away.

I like the doctor but I can NEVER GET THROUGH! THEY LITERALLY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! So unfortunately I will be forced to find another pediatrician which makes me very upset because everything else is great here. But if they NEVER answer the phone, I can't utilize them. It's pointless.
