We got our car fast which was nice but it was pretty dinged and scratched up. A little dirty as well with a little less than a gull tank of gas. I was also surprised they wanted charge extra for my wife to be added as a driver. I've never had that happen before! I posted pictures of the car today to show the damage was there when we got it.

Horrible Experience got to the airport in Orlando at around 1 am not to many rental options at this time went to dollar literally drove from Orlando straight to Panama City stop at the house got a little sleep and turned it in a 2 that afternoon so only really in it for about 6 hours total of me being in the vehicle turned it in and never got back my $500 deposit because they said they had to use it for a cleaning charge ridiculous do not waste your time or money with these crooks wish enterprise would have been open I always go with them worst experience ever

DO NOT RENT FROM DOLLAR/HERTZ! They took over $600 out my account and I never got to pick the car up. They lied and said I didn't come by to pick it up and charged me $200 for it. The representative was rude and arrogant and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say or answer my questions. If I wanted to get spit in my face I would have just asked a friend.

Not sure. Something fishy is going on with my debit card between Hertz and Dollar. Hertz was doing dollar rentals transactions and for some reason, both companies have billed my debit card. Be careful. The rental itself was nicely.

RENT ANYWHERE BUT FROM DOLLAR/HERTZ! Had a flat tire, called the number listed on my rental agreement for roadside assistance, no option available? Then got transferred around for 30 minutes and they told me I would have to pay to get the tire fixed or go to a location and swap the vehicle out? I put the spare on and needed to swap the car out like the representative told me to do, however no one knows how to do this or where to go to get it done. Wasted an entire day and I am still driving on a spare. Definitely not customer friendly. Myself or my company will NEVER rent from Dollar/Hertz again! Not that they care, I am only one measly customer, who owns a business and travels a bunch.

Easy pick up and drop off. Vehicle was very clean. Will be using them again on next vacation.

I had a horrible experience with this company. First of all, there was no one at the Dollar service desk, simply a sign that said to go to a different labeled renter car dealership desk. There was a “error” with my reservation, so they had to “reset” the whole reservation for me. I was there at 9: 30pm and was standing there until 11pm. I have the times logged in my phone because I called my mom in frustration, and finally was able to call her again when I finally got my keys. I felt so bad for the long line behind me. The staff at the desk would not listen to me, and my reservation code did not match the one they kept repeating back to me. They said it was because there was an error, and it was my new code. When I asked if the old code had any history, they said no. I told them I booked directly through their site, and showed them the email confirmations from their website. They kept talking about how I wasn’t supposed to use third party sites such as Expedia, which I again told them again I never used. I showed them once again the email, but they disregarded it. They rebooked the whole reservation, and charged $363.69 to my account. The car was clean, but it smelled like stale smoke which was not pleasant. We enjoyed the car while we used it besides that detail. When we returned the car, we turned it back in clean, in perfect condition, and full of gas. Our account was then charged $502.06. In total I paid $865.75. They were not upfront with the true total when I first made my reservation. I find it unfortunate that I had such a poor experience for a high price. Please fix your system so that reservations are not lost, customers don’t have such a long wait late into the night, be upfront with the true final total of the rental, and make sure your cars don’t smell like stale smoke since you clearly have plenty of money to fully clean them.

I never recieved my deposit back. And they chsrges me 200 more a week than was quoted because i returned to a different location after the lady told me that it would be fine. She never mentioned a higher rate. When i called customer service they would not allow me to.speak toa supervisor. I will never use this company again.

STAY AWAY! I wish I could leave 0 stars. This company is the worst rental car company I have ever worked with. I booked a car with them and required a 1 day extension. I went to the website and it would not recognize my reservation. So I called the phone number listed for the location and it transferred me to call center that told me that my reservation was impossible to fix without an in-person visit to the nearest location. The nearest location is a 2 hour drive each way. Furthermore, they don’t have location-specific phone numbers as a policy! So every phone number is disconnected or will re-direct you to the useless call center. Even the manager at the call center doesn’t have listed location numbers! By the end, it felt like it was an intentional scam to require delayed travelers to pay rediculous my high “late fees”. I will never use them again and would advise everyone to STAY AWAY!

2 days to check the desktop lock box & locate the vehicle I rented to close out the account? AND add additional credit card charges AND have corporate call & threaten me criminally & financially due to not returning the car when it was returned on-time? The airport is not that busy, especially on a Sunday morning in off-season for workers to not check the desktop drop box. Detailed info was sent with email survey. My family will definitely consider other car rental options in the future.
