Im supposed to get a especifi car that I pay for it went I make my reservation an went I get there they tell me they don't have that car that I pay for it, and they give me another car with additional charger of 175 dollar more just because they don't have my reservation ready and I have to pay because I was going to be late for my flight, now I get another additional charge of 69 dollars for tolls.this company still u money

Absolutely PATHETIC. 10 people in line and they state that WITH IR WITHOUT a reservation there is a one hour wait AFTER you check in, AFTER waiting in line for an hour. Completely the socialist third world country “service” that the socialists help make happen.
Rent ANYWHERE ELSE.

Booked and payed for our car and when we arrived they told us we should go to another rental place. That was after waiting in line over an hour. Kept pur money but did not give us a car. We were the only person they did this too either. This rental place is basically a scam.

Just got here and was told there is a two hour wait for the car even though we reserved in advance. Should have read the reviews before booking

If I can give 0 stars I would.
The lines were moving so so so slow- the people working the desks honestly seemed like they had no idea what they were doing.
It was a horrible experience from start to finish and would never ever do business with this company again. People beware the reviews of this place is 100% true and another company really would be better

Reserved a car with sister company Dollar, have flight info so they'd be updated on any issues. Flight was delayed 45min, agent said I lost the reservation as a result. Made another reservation with Thrifty for an immediate pickup. After standing in line 20min and doing paperwork was told it would be 2hrs until they had a car. I have Dr appointments so have to take Uber which defeats the purpose of a rental!

Waited 2+ hours for our rental. Horrible costumer service the manager debated our wait time. Definitely use Turo or anything else!

The car was clean and I had no issues during the week rental. The staff were helpful and efficient. The car had 50,000 miles on it and was 3 years old, if it had been newer I would have given 5 stars

Absolutely horrible. I will never use dollar Rent-A-Car again. We arrived at Fort Lauderdale airport on Thursday, March 23 at 1: 42 PM. We were unable to get our Rent-A-Car until 4: 17 PM due to the fact that there was only one clerk at the desk with a line of approximately 70 people no exaggeration! Should it take 2 1/2 hours to pick up a rental car? I think not. Upon getting to the desk and speaking with the representative and asking him what exactly is going on and why did it take this long? His response was” sometimes things happen, ma’am” really is that the best he has to offer. We returned the car tonight at approximately 11: 30 PM as we have an early morning flight and do not want to take a chance getting stuck waiting on line again with this horrible customer service and missing our flight. I will never use dollar rental car again.

If I could give the service at Dollar Rental in West Palm Beach a negative number I would. 1 is the lowest number available to rate. Awful experience. I get they are short staffed, but they’ve known that for awhile. So why not text customers hours or even days in advance that you will wait a long time to pick up your car that was paid for and reserved 4 months ahead of time? Then to show absolutely no empathy or remorse for the hardship caused is inexcusable. Do not rent from Dollar at West Palm Beach. Oh, and Thrifty and Hertz are all operated at the same location.

Absolutely beyond a doubt the WORST service EVER. RUDE, NON-CACARING, UNIFORMED AND TERRIBLE! I'd give it minus 1000 stars! Do NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

Had a reservation for months, place had zero vehicles and told us it would be 4-5 hours until they did…and they weren’t even sure if that would be the case. Will never use any line of Hertz business again. Zero excuses for how poorly this place is ran.

Deserves ZERO stars.and if I could give that, I would. By far the worst experience I've had in my entire life! Reservation was made for a 7-passenger vehicle for a 9am pick-up. We took the shuttle from the airport to the car rental location. We waited approximately 40 minutes on a line just to check-in and receive our contract. We received our contract at 10: 47am. We were asked to go outside and show the attendant our receipt. We waited for 30 minutes before the gentleman came to us to say that there are no vehicles available. They offered us to take 2 vehicles instead of 1, but traveling with a disabled senior citizen and children made that impossible. They then tell us it will be another 2 hours. I called the customer service number as the manager Jenny was useless, and asked to speak to a supervisor. The representative that answered continued to tell me there was nothing that they can do and refused to connect me to their supervisor. Andy from the call center stated that he was the supervisor. When asked to speak to the person he reported to, he continued to say that he was the supervisor until he eventually hung up on me. Jenny the in-store manager was by far the worst leader I have ever dealt with and could not help. She explained that her manager Jason Hitchcock was upstairs in his office. When we asked to speak with him, all of a sudden he was "missing. " Five minutes later, he's now in "meetings" upstairs. Five minutes after that he's now supposedly not even in the building and they didn't know how to get in touch with him. Lie after lie from Jenny the manager. It was absolutely ridiculous. We then asked for the district manager's name and she told us it was Luis Fernandez. We asked for his contact info, but of course she didn't have that either. Shocking! We were dumbfounded that someone in a leadership role would continue to tell lie after lie after lie. Other SUVs in the lot belonged to Hertz we were told. We asked if they would pay the difference for the car as they did not have ours available at 9am for when we booked, and she continued to refuse and not be helpful whatsoever. We waited in 95+ degree weather with a disabled senior citizen and 3 kids. It was an absolute nightmare. After hours of waiting, at 12: 47pm they finally offered us a pick up truck and asked us to come later to pick up the SUV that we had originally booked. We took the pick up truck although it was very difficult for the disabled senior citizen to get in. We left and they called us around 4: 30pm with our car that we had originally booked for 9am. By far the worst experience ever, and Jenny made the experience even worse than it was! We contacted Dollar Rental and asked for a call back from the leadership team, but of course not one callback. This Dollar Rental's leadership team needs a complete overhaul!

Very bad experience at West Palm Beach. Line at the airport was very slow. We got to the pickup location and was informed there would be a 35 minute wait. They’ve already exceeded that. Plenty of cars in the lot; just none apparently in the category we rented. Nowhere to sit inside.

If you have a choice, avoid this company at this airport.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Be prepared to be charged much more then what your rental agreement was. When we arrived we were told they did not have the car we reserved online and that we would have to wait several hours. They then bait and switched us and upsold us on another car that was more expensive and said if you would like a car now, you can pay extra. They know you’ve been traveling all day and no one wants to wait hours at a rental car place. I was then charged $40 in “administrative fees” on $4 in tolls. They will charge you $10 per toll you go through. Any other rental place will cover tolls and will also upgrade you for free if they do not have the car you reserved. Our rental wound up being double the cost we prepaid for.

This is a scam. Beware. You pay for a reservation, then when you go to pick it up they will tell you they are out of all cars you had reserved. Then they will give you a better car. After you return it and leave the place they will charge your credit card again and claim they gave you an upgrade. You will not be able to resolve it by calling them. I did not believe the other reviews before booking and ended up losing $178.21
