Dollar General, Jacksonville FL

This store is constantly closing down almost 40 mins before closing it's ridiculous this is the second time this has happened and then they never pick up the phone the workers never help or greet you. I was outside tonight with another customer and she arrived at 9: 30 and they was closed and hiding this is ridiculous I will be calling corporate!

I came today because I need a lamp urgent. The employee saw me and instead of him letting me know they close super early. He just hide. I got here at 945pm and tge doors was already close.

No one was available. I walked the entire store and no employee was available. Eventually 2 emerged from the office.

Store Always looks nice. Continually see them stocking workers very nice, even if its almost closing (smiles)

Went in to pick up a couple of items and came out with more than I went for. Employees were very pleasant and the store was clean.

The store was half empty and the clearance section had almost no items with clearance tags so I couldn't tell what anything cost. The staff was nice thougg

Probably the worst store in Jax. Staff are rude especially the morning manager. The store hours are meaningless they open late and close early. Store is always messy and even with a line wrapped around the inside they only have one cash register open.

Terrible customer service. The manager, Janis was extremely rude and lied to me. I contacted the district manager, Sandra, who apologized and said it will be fixed. I hope so because I WILL not go in that store when she is working. I'd rather drive 3-5 miles down the road or just go to an entire different store.

This store is messy and completly unorganized. The manager Janis is extremely rude and quite frankly despicable. I will never shop here again.

Nice. Out of pounce and didn't look to see if they had mote in back but they're good prices keep me coming back.

This has to be the dirtiest Family Dollar on the West Side OMG parking lot is always disgusting, they never keep employees here long, the inside is always overcrowded with boxes in the aisles, merchandise isn't in its proper place, totally unorganized & the prices aren't correct with certain merchandise, then when you show them that the items are out of place & what the price is, they do not honor the mistake thats been proven. I totally took my money somewhere else, honestly only come to this place because who the hell wants to stand in long lines at Walmart, but then again who wants to go to a place where nothing is in its rightful place as well? Damned if you do damned if you don't

I love the employees at this store. They are always friendly and helpful. The new manager however treats you like you stole something every time. I don't appreciate the way she treats her customers, employees and even the vendors.

Nice place lines not bad. Staff will help you with questions. Seems to be better managed than last year.

I will not visit the Merrill road location again. I have never been in a store as an adult and been asked to leave my purse at the front of the store. By a black person no less, lil girl was trying to do her job to well. I don’t know what she thought but she need to have better customer service and know when she needs to address a situation. I do not have to steal!

They are starting to get and keep it organized now I guess the Marshall let em know its a fire hazard having a store so messy

I'll say this, you don't go to Dollar General for customer service and top quality products. Not my worst experience but definitely not in my top 10.

Although it looks a little unorganized inside, it's still clean and safe to shop at. Decent prices, it's definitely on the higher end of the "Dollar Store" spectrum.
