Dollar General, West Palm Beach FL

Do not go at the time school is letting out!
When I got there the parking lot was nearly empty. When I left, it was half full with a dozen cars blocking the exit waiting for kids to be let out from school. The only way in or out was through the single entrance lane which was extremely dangerous. There were actually TWO lines of cars blocking the exit from the parking lot! Why couldn't these cars have just filled the empty parking spaces in the lot rather than block the exit so nobody could safely leave? Seems to me Palm Springs Police need to get in gear and start handing out some tickets to these parents who think it's alright to behave in this dangerous manner and deterring business for the local merchants during this time each day. I know I certainly won't go anywhere near there at that time of day again. EVER!

Has everything you need, but the place is filthy and not enough help at check out. Takes literally about 25 minutes to get checked out on busy nights.

The store never is too crowded. The prices are good and it offers an incredible variety of products taking into account that the store is not a big one.

This Place doesn't deserve to be called dollar General. Barely anything in the store is a $1. I could go to walmart and get better quality of stuff there for cheaper than this place. They wanted $3 for a 1×1 foot "styrofoam" cooler that couldn't hold a 2 liter soda bottle in it. And $20 for a tiny lunch style cooler. Why call yourself Dollar General? False advertising if I had to say. Don't waste your time. Go to Dollar Tree. They sell things for a $1!

Store was surprisingly neat and the young man behind the counter, helped me find everything I needed. Over all pleasant experience.

They'll sell anybody anything. I watched them ask a young lady if she wanted to buy some compressed air, they just got some in and it was very obvious, she had a drug problem. Dollar General the store that pushes legal products for illegal use. I bet they would even sell it to a minor. I will never shop at another Dollar General and I tell everyone, I see. There was someone even recording what was happening. Horrible business, practices.

I was amazed of all the stuff you can find here.this is like a small walt-mart, beer is cheap here, only national I think.

Store was well stocked and clean. Friendly staff. I took some sort of molly/ecstasy/amphetamine stuff right before I went inside and bout 15 mins in the store it hit me hard! Freaked me out for minute.but I was able to finish my shopping and go home.where I shared with my boyfriend and did more. Great night! Thanks Dollar General

4 people working at store full of customer with 1 cashier and manager and 2 other employees walking around see customer ready to check out with a long line and dont help

Narrow aisles and everything is difficult to find. The cashiers never fail to move at a snail's pace and don't mind you waiting. The prices are about the same as Walmart, so it's often not worth stopping when you may not even find what you're looking for. Save your time and keep driving to the next store.

The cleanliness is mediocre at best, while the line is absurd! I've been several times, during different shifts and the wait to cash out is burdensome. Do not visit this location if your in a rush or do not like to wait for an extremely slow check out service. Lastly, they do not keep their parking lot cleaned, there is always litter outside everytime I've visited this location.

It's always a great place to buy drinks for work because it's cheaper than any other stores but they still need to restock some of the drinks

They need to clean the store and put merchandise on the shelf so you buy things the store always has carts fill n nothing on the shelf

I enjoy Dollar General.i mean what else is there to say really? Oh! There parking lot is not great but other than that it's good.
