Dollar General, Dunedin FL

The store is always clean & well stocked with the items I need. When I'm on my way to Honeymoon Beach State Park, it's nice to be able to pick up fun beach items, sunscreen or a chair umbrella! I especially appreciate the 'scan items yourself' register! Thanks!

The store does not answer the phone! According to a employee its too much trouble. I was concerned, as a Teacher. I asked him, "what if there is a community emergency? " He was not concerned. He was more annoyed with questions about how late they are open. They had been closing at 6: 00 P. M. Now its 9: 00 P. M. How do they expect anyone to know the hours of operation, (its was storming out) if they don't answer the phone. Questions and concerns from the community should be address.

Though shelf stock may not be reliable, I still regularly shop there because the manager & cashiers are friendly & helpful.

I must admit that this dollar General is pretty well stocked. They seem to have a little bit of everything and they're always bringing in something new here and there. The best part is the weekly deals that they have on all laundry detergent supplies and cleaning and all that compared to Amazon Walmart or any other place they're still unbeatable

Love DG! Best prices, overworked employees and underpaid. If you have a racecar team, pay your employees at least with a decent car or wage!

As always the dollar store delivers! Not all products are in stock at all times due to the fact that they Source their product from China. As a result some products are not always available however cannot beat the prices on cleaning products and household goods. Regular spices are so much less expensive there!

This place is great if your looking for beach gear cheap this is the place the other dollar stores do not seen to have the inventory they do. Check it out

Just now left there. Had my boys looking for toys to buy. That's what we do everytime we go to a Dollar General. A gentleman working there told them enough playing and to get out of toy aisle. He did not see me standing across in the next aisle. I asked what the problem was and he just pointed in frustration at few items out of place. They are kids, looking for toys they want to buy. Really? !? ! I will NEVER be back to this location. Very rude. By the way they put their selection back and apologized because that's how I raised my kids.

Besides all of the great stuff DG usually had this one has beach and touristy stuff. Always clean and the staff always friendly.

Terrible experience. I had a few minutes to waste before picking up my son from school I wanted to do some shopping at this dollar general. I attempted to use the restroom but both of them had it out of order signs. At this particular moment it was an emergency so I went to the register and asked how it was possible that both bathrooms were out of order. The girl at check out said I don’t know you should ask the store manager he is in the back. So I went to find him and he told me that there was nothing he could do about it that corporate doesn’t wanna do anything about it and also complained of the air conditioner not working. Since the store manager didn’t really care or came across that way I called corporate. I called and explained my visit to the dollar general and besides finding out the location and what happened I could tell that he wasn’t taking any notes didn’t take any of my information so I know that if I tried to go back it would be the same situation. How is that for an employee to have to work in a store in Florida With very high temperatures and humidity that have to take their break to go find a bathroom and then have to go back to work in a hot store that is definitely against employee rights! And as a customer spending money I expect to have a bathroom available to use. I am shocked at a corporate big company treating people and employees that way.

Great selection of items. Even their bread is fresh and good! Good stop for beach goers heading to the causeway for beer, wine, towels, ice, chairs, water games.u name it. But it can be busy!

Late night cashiers always so nice and helpful. Daytime ladies a little rude. Great clearance deals! Low Prices. Masks yes. Not crowded.

Service is usually good, nice people. Prices are definitely pretty high for a dollar store. It store should just be called The General store.

I'm sorry but I was surprised to find dishwasher pods really more expensive than walMart. That's just unexpected from a dollar store.

I live in Indiana and am a HUGE Gators fan. Never thought that there would be so much Gators stuff there, especially for a Dollar General.
