Dollar General, Tampa FL

. ONE STAR IS A STRETCH! What’s the point of having a phone if yall don’t EVER pick it up. Store always a mess. Boxes everywhere. They never have anything in there. I even applied for a job just because I knew they needed assistance. They had a whole sign asking for help.seems as tho they don’t need the help. Family dollar picks up there phone family dollar stays clean and they are friendly. Dollar general on the other hand And might I add how the Parking Lot is NEVER clean

Dollar general is a horrible company! No one should shop here or at any dollar general store for the way they treat there employees! But if you chose to go in and shop, do not be rude to the employees! Instead call up the corporate office and complain to them! IT IS NOT THE EMPLOYEES FAULT.

They fired the sweetest lady out of nowhere and refused to get security because ‘she’s black. ’ even though she begged to get security for years because people were literally getting shot at this location.disgusting.

Racist district manager.treats her employees like they’re worthless.will NEVER shop at a dollar general again.

Customer service is horrible. Is cash only after standing in line for ten minutes to figure that out.

This location has a new staff, most are friendly, some aren't, WHY. Face to face customer service can be tough, some ppl are just rude but with great customer service skills you can turn that frown into a smile, at least say hello with a smile in your voice not a frown on your face. I'm big on customer service, it doesn't cost a dime to just be nice. Geesh

Rude employees, dangerous area. Always homeless people sleeping outside. Staff doesn't care. Shelves are empty.

1 cashier with a line down the isle, please hire more cashiers, this puts strain on the employees you already have and makes customers hate coming here.

4 stars because its not the best location and the store itself lights were off. Other then that got 4 colorful planting pots for $6.50

This is an amazing location.they really stepped there game up. I really love the selection they provide. Staff is always super friendly. Shop here often

Well Dollar General is a funny name to me I wonder where the dollar comes from causes hardly anything in there that is a dollar I think some of the things they have in their terribly over place price I think it's just convenient for most people I like the other dollar store with things in there are a dollar and they both have the same similarities and it I guess if you look at it though it's really not that bad if it's you know in your range of stores to go to and you can just about fine in the household item that you need in there so it's really not that bad I just don't get the name

Its always something. Today was cash only. As you come in the cashier says to you CASH ONLY. What will be next free food for everyone. Lol

This particular location always seem to have a variety of items. And very rarely do you find an empty shelf. The staff there has been quite courteous as well. I give it 4 and a half stars and highly recommend!

I felt like they was watching me and felt like I was stealing. I was simply shopping and strolling to collect my goods. But I felt so uncomfortable that I almost didn't even purchase my goods. Also the store employees were loudly cursing and making the atmosphere very uncomfortable. There was alot of product on shelves. This is crazy who is the night stocking crew. Clean up and get it together. Period dont watch me! Watch yourselves!

I gave those stars for Holly the older white lady she always gets stuck with a long line clearly she has a manager and another young lady who only ask for cash and go back into the office no other assistance needed she handles it all! Then you have Sly a gentleman who I see always in the back working and has also come up to the front to help when the line is extremely long. So thanks you two for your assistance. Keep up the good work!

No clothes to shop for kids anymore? Maybe seasonal change out? Isles kind of disorganized. Friendly staff but one of the cashiers doesn’t wear her face mask.

Staff has fallen in quality since the remodel. They allow customers to cut in front of others, threaten other customers etc. People park where they shouldn't making it hard to get out of the spots closest to the entry when the rest of the parking lot is empty. FOr the past week their registers have been messed up to where there are lines forming. One register for cash only the other for cards and cash. I use to do ALL my shopping there, wont be anymore after tonight.

The parking sucks at this location but it’s convenient and they are usually pretty stocked. They greet you when you come in the door. It’s usually a line to check out and the employees are helpful when you need help. The parking lots are dirty with litter should be cleaned up more often.
