Dollar General, Hawthorne FL

It's a nice store but if you call and ask about something they will put you on hold and won't come back to the phone so when you hang up and call back you don't get to talk with anyone all you get is the busy tone. Very disappointing when I do more business with this location more than anywhere else.

Didn't have ice forever! And all the shelves are always empty like it was the end of the world but I don't know it's like that all the time I think that's how they operate is really weird

The store clerk there was very nice went in back and grabbed me something in the back she was very helpful!

The manager it's not a very people person. Overly rude and seems to get mad when you don't want to use self-checkout

I have visited all the DG in this area all have a friendly service and we'll maintained stock. Except this store, store has loads of stock in aisles. Hard to walk around to look for item's

Went in for spray bottles. The tag said $3.25 but there was a $1 deals sticker right under it. Get to the register and theyre ringing up for the higher price. The associate called to assist me goes back to check and she says they didn't put a sale tag there and she can't override the system, refusing to admit that she is wrong. Ok, I'll just take my business to honest people.

The people there that work are nice they greet you at the door they ask you if you need help with anything the rolling willing to help you and the prices are fair

Some parts of the store are dirty. Some employees are very rude.but you can find most of what you'll need their. They have remodeled the store but they need to remodel their employees attitudes or get rid of a few bad apples.you go their form your own opinion.store looks good for the most part. Need to pick up trash.

Neighborhood stable. Gave it 4 stars due to moldy nectarines in the prepackaged bag I bought. The girls working are friendly and helpful so I am.sure i could have returned the bag. I just threw the moldy ones out will check the bags with more care in the future.

The store is great, It has food and everything with a little grocery store. The store is very clean and the people are very nice

I went in to get a refund on a gallon of milk without a receipt. I had called the 888 # on the jug and spoke with a rep saying since it was an in house item I could get cash back or and item of equal value in the store and she gave me a ticket # to take. At the store the clerk didn't want to give me a refund without a receipt. She went to speak to the regional manager that was there and called me back to the register and said no cash but she'd give me a store card which I accepted. Said she really didn't want to do it because several other people had gotten fired today. I did my shopping and checked out with another girl, it was busy. I swiped my store card and it didn't work. I tried 3 more times and asked the girl what am I doing wrong? She said I don't know anything about gift cards, I don't know what to tell you. So now I have a non working gift card, in place of my gallon of milk. Not Happy! This particular store really could use some educated intelligent workers.

Turns out they're remodeling the place and the coolers weren't stocked because they're replacing them.perfect example of why non employees like me should mind their business lol!

Its not a bad store it could use some improvements but they do what they can in the time of needs

Very, very rude employee s & management Will not shop @, or recommend this stores location again.
