Dollar General, Fanning Springs FL

The dollar store isn't just a dollar in fact if you're buying anything but what is low cost buying one or two things off that list will bring you to a disadvantage because it's all lower quality stuff

They treated me like a criminal for messing up with digital coupons I was stopped at the door made me very nervous I wouldn't suggest if you want to come mellow atmosphere this Dollar general's not the place

I had a friend send me a western union money transfer and drove 30minutes to get to them. They have signs all over outside advertising they do them and western union says they do. Their employees and system aren't at all equipped or available to properly facilitate a simple western union for a recieving customer. Not only did I get an attitude and asked to wait while he continually helped other customers but then instructed to download app which was 100% unnecessary. Something needs to be done about this as their system wasn't working properly and they somehow have no way of inputting the information by tracking number or pin. 4 times trying to get help and they acted like I was a nuisance terrible hospitality and customer service for a service you know nothing about. Correct your issue and don't blame your customers. I had to drive another 10 minutes away and had my money within seconds.

It's 5pm on a week day. The check out Lane is wrapped down by frozen foods. 1 cashier! Not a happy person several just left including me.

Have fruit, vegetables, and a good selection of everyday items. Good for last minute groceries.

They need to clean and organize more of course you need to be willing to pay a decent wage.

Great little store. Complete with a produce section. EXCELLENT customer service by a catering staff. Very clean and well stocked

Each n every week, laundry detergent, styrofoam plates and cups, 12 pks dr pepper, cokes n sprites, candles, candies, wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, bout everything we gotta get each week besides the groceries.gotta get meats n veg stuff at the grocery store.too bad they don't have it all.

Wanted to buy a pair of pants and they didn't have a price cashier didn't attempt to get help for a price

I love when I can walk into my local store and know right where things are at and the employees are so eager to help. They work hard to keep the store very clean to. Way to go Pam!

It's a pretty good store it's got what you want but when you check out there's always one register

Never enough cashiers. They are on floor but never on register. Lines are crazy long. Shelves are empty. Not a stop n quick shop anymore

Always easier to get my home supplies at Dollar General, Instead of fighting the big crowds at Walmart

Overall I had a satisfactory experience at all three Dollar General stores that I visited this afternoon in Old Town Florida, Fanning Springs and on c.r. 349 Dixie county FL.
The stores were clean and relatively well stocked and the store associate's were friendly, promo and helpful.
I will note though that I believe that all of the employees should be paid double whatever they now receive, and that applies across the board for all employees in essential services positions.
So I'm giving you 4 out of 5 stars.
Pay them better for 5 stars.

So, so. Only buy certain things here. It is the best place for greeting cards, old fashioned candy and, cookies.

The parking lot at this store was definitely the worst I’ve ever seen, maybe the parking lot cleaner was a no show or something but the parking lot was nasty. It’s great that this store has produce, not all DG stores do. For some reason I just can’t find the purified drinking water by Clover Valley at any of the local dollar DG stores here in this area. I picked up a few things but then when I saw the line I changed my mind… On a Saturday morning they really needed more than one clerk.

This the best store in Dixie, clean, organized and the people are friendly and helpful, not rude and dirty like the Old Town store
