Dollar General, Oviedo FL

They keep closing the store early with no sign. Cars in the parking lot and staff inside today at 9: 00 pm but doors were locked. I motioned to the staff and they ignored me. How rude!

My kids and I go to this Dollar General Store quite often since it's conveniently located near our home. It's our first stop before hitting up the Publix down the street.

We stopped by this particular Dollar General Store (#18359) to purchase a few non-perishable canned goods to donate to the local Homeless Veterans Thanksgiving dinner. We found two of the three items and went to pay at the register. I was telling the cashier what the kids and I were doing and how we were unable to find canned cranberry jelly. He pointed us to the aisle where they were stocked and there wasn't any more. He asked me if I could wait a minute so he could check the back to see if he had some in the back storage area. Viola- he comes out with three six-packs of the canned cranberry jelly. This young man's name was Jason. Did he have to go in the back to check? No, he could have just proceeded to close the transaction and moved on but instead not only helped me out but he also helped feed our local homeless Veterans. Excellent customer service is hard to come by nowadays and everyone calls to complain rather than compliment. I wanted to make sure that this young gentlemen gets some recognition for going above and beyond what one would normally do.

Just so you know, I am not related to anyone who works at this store nor do I know anyone who works at any Dollar General Store. I just appreciate great customer service and believe that those who provide great customer service should be recognized and applauded. Kudos JASON!

They had a lot of great deals, my wife loved the clearance section. Very organized clean and the associates were all very friendly. We highly recommend this store thanks Frankie

Dollar General is a good place to get your daily items. The checkout was fairly fast and for what I had gotten it was very cheap. If you need something that you may use in your daily life or if your just looking for something to snack on or whatever the case may be Dollar General could supply you with it.

The fact that its so close to home is why I appreciate DG but they can sometimes be very limited to what they carry in the store.

Thanks for thinking of us back here, we truly needed a store out here. The staff was helpful and kind. Decent prices.everyone wearing their mask. And if not they kindly ask you to put one on.

Very nice cashier we were talking and I forgot my paper towels and she brought it over to me and I was in my car ready to leave. Very nice lady

Terrible customer service and the class of ppl that shop there.just horrible. Ever since the COVID outbreak, no one can fill any positions to work so we have to suffer long wait time and long lines. I was told i was too impatient but I waited for you didn't I? I still was in line soo lets talk about patience shall we!? I know your EBT card prolly didn't clear. I'm sorry.
Dollar General why don't u have more ppl available after 5pm to help out? Get it together! Won't be back and I hate to say it, you are losing customers due to your lack of personnel.

Employee greeted everyone but me, which is fine I guess. But when I got to the register, I said "hi, how are you? " she just proceded to throw my things on the side after scanning each item. Then ultimately threw some plastic bags towards me to bag my items. Interesting enough, she bagged every other person's items without an issue. Mind you, I did not give her an attitude or did anything negative to deserve this poor service. Only thing I can think of is that the employee was racist.

This is one of the cleanest, most organized dollar stores I have visited. They are also well stocked with a great selection of products to choose from. To top it off, the location is convenient and easy to get in and out of, which is a huge plus, especially in this area.

Gotta love this Dollar General.they have everything, great prices, friendly staff. Dollar General has gotten me out of a pinch time and time again!

It is very neat and I have been to others and they are so messy I just leave and do not buy.

The inside is always decently clean and the employees have always been helpful and polite. However the outside always looks like a dump

Great value! Unbelievable variety of stuff for a neighborhood store on the corner. And Lance took super care of us and kept calm while customers poured into the store. He should get a raise!

This stores okay their shelf isint very well stocked so not much selection but it is clean and orginized. Wish they had of of a selection in stuff although uts a small store I feel they could carry more product.

Been there a couple times. The employees are friendly. Stop is convenient on the way to school.

Save time while avoiding lines. Products are fresh and contrary to popular belief, not expired.
