Dollar General, Port Charlotte FL

I drove out of my way to this location to buy 1 specific product, I've been looking for.for some time. Anywho I get there, first time at this location so I am a tad lost. I get to the dept and see the shelf is empty. I ask who I can only assume is the manager "are you able to see if this item is in stock". She snug up her nose and pretty much rudely told me there was no way and pretty much offered no help. I ended up walking a little further down the store and found a display with them (yes exciting) however felt the ASSOCIATE/ MANAGER could have taken a moment to offer CUSTOMER SERVICE and say "hey check over here". I guess it's just me but customer service is not what it use to be. Another issue I did see, was a customer waiting for several minutes at the shelf checkout waiting for help that never came. She ended up hopping in front of me in line, to check out with the 1 cashier. The cashier was friendly and the store was surprisingly clean which is uncommon for a DG.

Nathan Kenny Cassie and Matt are by far the best employee who have worked this location. Since cassie has taken over management the store has made a 100% improvememt.

There has been dried rotten milk at the bottom of their coolers for far too long now. I and no one else appreciates smelling that when buying drinks hopefully this review will encourage them to clean it up.

Get there at 6: 20pm paper sign on door says closed MONDAY Tuesday Wednesday at 5 pm
That's reduculous and there are 2 vehicles in parking lot. My semi broke down in front of. Watched several people drive in walk up and leave mad.

I absolutely LOVE this store. The cashier this morning on Thanksgiving day is an amazing person, Very professional and has a contagious smile. I would recommend anyone for there small shopping here. Dollar General keep that wounderfully employee you got there.

The absolute worst staff I have ever encountered. Every time I go there I am treated like I am an inconvenience. Or I watch the cashier treat someone else horrible. I promise myself every time I leave to never go back and yet out of convenience I am sucked back in and every single time I regret it. Unhelpful, sarcastic, will ignore you at the register, the absolute worst.

Your managers debra and dottie.two amazing women! They daily provide costumers with a awesome shopping experience and definitely in need of a raise or vacation!

They need some more help at this location it is convenient for where it's at. But would not go out of my way to shop there. Seems like they don't have enough help and a product is just laying everywhere or inboxes still

This Dollar General store was one of the best I've ever been into! Clean, neat and organized baby! They had more than the other stores back home! Dakota checked us out and was very kind! I highly recommend!

You don't think there would be much in this store but there's actually a lot, I found everything I was looking for and more. If that was friendly and it was not very busy so you have lots of room to browse without feeling claustrophobic LOL

Everyone in there is so nice the stories exceptionally clean. I don't surcourt on the shelf and mediately and everything is so organized. You're not blocked by junk in the isles. And the floor looks like it's mop daily. A totally different experience from the one on Tamiami trail in Port Charlotte

This store Rock's. I go here all the time and the workers are all so happy and friendly everytime I go. This is a good store.

I got my bike stolen from this dollar general and I asked if there were cameras and they said no. Then the manager told me she watched it get stolen and didn’t do anything about it, then proceeded to tell me to leave. I hope you end up on the side of the street:)

I visited this store in search of antibacterial wipes. On the door a sign for anyone entering to wear a mask. I always wear one but to my surprise, the employee I approached to ask a question was not, so I asked him why seeing there was a sign on the door as well as all the rest of the employees were complying with their policy. He rudely said I he did not know the answer to my question and turned away. I then approached another employee who just couldn't be bothered to acknowledge or pretend to know. Why would I bother to visit a place that employees do not adhered to policy or greet their customers with respect and courtesy as the one who helps to pay their wage. Just lost me as a customer.

It's beautiful I love it and my wife won't come back to Michigan so I'd come and see her instead
