Dollar General, Gibsonton FL

Every time I go here they’re closed. I just stopped by here at 1pm on a Saturday and they are closed and this has happened on multiple occasions. It’s either that or they don’t take cash. I don’t recommend coming here they’re a disappointment

It’s 11: 30am on a Saturday and it’s closed? Witness a lot of angry customers knock on the doors for almost half an hour. There was a gentleman in a wheel chair desperately needing items in the store but to avail. Not a good look at all.

The worst retail establishment I have ever ATTEMPTED to shop at. Aside from the complete lack of organization, employee friendliness/morale and cleanliness of the property inside and out, the store is open when they choose for it to be.

I've attempted to pick up a package, as it is a FedEx pick up location, I have been unable to for days. Open hours are 8A-10P. There are employees everyday and simply have the door locked and ignore all customers coming to the door. Id be embarrassed if my name was associated with Dollar General and this was my location. Waste of time, go somewhere else.

Ugh.half the time you stop by this store & it's closed in the middle of the day. On the times they are open, they only accept cash some days or they only accept card on other days, but you have to read the hand written notes all over the front of the store to find out which it is that day. The employees are rude, never interested in customer service while checking out, no hi, no bye, did you find everything.nothing. The parking lot is always covered in trash & cigarette butts. Nasty. Called corporate today, but I will never attempt to shop at this store again.

One star is not even what this store deserves. It's closed half the time went to return a rug Doctor today line was so long two employees there and only one register open. And he was trainitgget didn't even know how to do a return on the rental. Not even the manager knew. I will NEVER NEVER EVER go to this store ever they were rude and impatient.

Very nice set up at this store. It's clean, organized and pretty easy to find what you need. The staff was very helpful and cordial.

Store is not organized and doesn’t offer FedEx drop off in the guidelines. Seems just lazy staff and poor management.

The only good thing is the location, all other stores are 10 min away. But it typically is dirty and there are always carts of stock waiting to be put on the shelves

The worst place to shop the manager through my merchandise that I wanted a refund for on the counter at me telling me she can't refund it. I apologized to her for not getting the price right. And her excuse to me was there was a long line behind me and her regenal manger is coming in today. So, any way that's not how you treat a loyal customer and that's no excuse to throw things!

Always have their shelves stocked, great prices (love the digital coupons) and all TT he staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, it saves me from having to deal with hectic chain stores and that is a BIG plus in my book.

I have been in that store 4 days in a row the animal row is so bear. All the stock is a the of iles never put on shelf's. Not sure if the need more help but it a shame you can but nothing when it's at in of iles in boxes. Hope to see a change soon.

Had a very good experience at the dollar store the clerk was very considerate and kind clothes

Over worked and under staffed, yet the staff here are always ready to help. Friendly and usually have what I need in stock. The aisles are full of carts of merchandise ready for the shelf, HELPFUL workers.

The employees were rude i needed to use the restroom and had to wait along time because an employee had to let me in, never again.

Great staff, Awesome customer service and care, Maybe they have the best produce out of all the stores in town!

Standard store really good staff. Big fan of all the extra help they had when doing the restocking of the store this should be done at all stores just saying

They should stock souvenirs that say Florida so visitors can buy reasonablely priced gifts for friends and family.

This location is definitely getting better. The cashier was very helpful with picking out balloons and blowing them up for me.
