Dollar General, Lake City FL

This is the second time in a row a dollar general employee was rude to me (different store last time). The older thin lady that works the highway 90 store. Asked a simple question about an item and she was very rude. I'm done with dg at this point. I'll go elsewhere from now on. Their prices are that good anyway.

This is a good Dollar Store, they have stuff that you don't find at the others in town (especially in the frozen section).

Cashiers are always in a good mood and are happy to help you.

The cashier was very pleasant and loaded my items in my cart and said have a blessed evening. He's a keeper!

By far the cleanest dollar general I have ever been in! The whole crew is extremely kind and polite and are always eager to help!

I won't be going back there, no one wearing a mask, social distancing, and imagine the hospitals being overrun with covid!

Was in and out in less than 3 min even left the line to grab something else and out the door I went the clerk was on time getting folks in and out the store with no line that's what I'm talking about

This store used to have the nicest cashiers. Now they hand outside on their phones and are really rude about goung inside to serve customers.

Lake City Dollar general had fresh produce and little more selection and fresh items the mcalpin live oak Dollar general did not why is that so? They're basically 20 mi apart

I was impressed that they had a very good selection of fresh produce and fruits, and a large size grocery section. It did look like they gave up alot of space for the usual non grocery items I go to Dollar General for. It is a nice addition, although unnecessary with so many grocery stores in that are.

Always a problem when I go into this store. I only come here when the dg closer to my home is out of something I need. I shopped and got over $50 worth of things and 1 coupon did not come off. $3 off. I even asked the cashier if it did and she told me yes. When I looked at my reciept, it was not off. So I wait another 15-20 minutes in line again. I get the other cashier who was just helping another lady with her coupons. She looks at my phone, then hers and says that it's not a real coupon. I sign in and out and show her again. Then she says we'll it's not in my phone. She only had a $2 off of the same item. So I asked if she would atleast honor the $2 off since I wouldn't have bought all that shampoo if I knew the coupon wasn't going to work. She proceeds to take other costumers instead of finishing up with me and tells me to come back another day. It's 5: 00 pm and they don't even close til 10 pm. Why would I want to come back another day over $2. Why have coupons if they never work and they don't want to ever honor it. My regular dg (one off Branford hwy right after s&s) always finishes up with their costumer before helping others and they honor their coupons without accusing them of fake coupons and always great costumer service! Some of these young people need to get trained in costumer service and learn how to handle these situations. It's very aggravating.

You've got to love Dollar General because you get so much of nothing for so much of nothing and the service is great here and also do you really need all those things that you buy a Dollar General well we could live without them! Good work guys

Always easy to get in and out of this store. Staff is helpful and the store is always got that last minute item I forgot at the supermarket.
