Dollar General, Lake City FL

Store is open til 9 not 10 like their profile states. Don't make a special trip here for something late.

Love all dollar generals. Just a bit of a pain because they never seem to have what you need when you need it.

These ppl are the best they have cool stuff like skull ashtrays and cigarettes holders and all kinds of cool stuff and they stay open until 10 pm

Store is horribly organized. I don't like to give bad reviews, but you can't just quickly come in and leave when buying just a few items. The aisles are uncomfortably close together, nothing is easy to find, staff is unhelpful, and the place is generally messy and overwhelming to be in. When coming here, I would only recommend self-checkout, or not coming here at all.

This location must be going downhill, because my experiences here were never like the 4 and 5 star reviews described.

Employees here are so lazy. Was refused service because I asked for something to be done on a second transaction. Maybe if they would be more concerned with customer service rather than getting outside for a smoke break it would have been different. Just sad excuse for service. Now I will just make the extra 10 minute drive to a store that actually cares. Guess that’s why there are so many

Cashier was rude and had no manners what so ever! Accused several customers of trying to steal cussing and carrying on! I have contacted cooperate about the horrible attitude of this woman!

Dollar General in Ellisville is going down the hill! The store in NEVER stocked! Everytime i go in there's always a truck but shelves are always empty. The staffing is rude or reaks of alcohol. They always have music playing and is way to loud. When you ask for help or ask for something they get an attitude. No one is ever friendly. I always Dread going to that store. I'd rather drive the extra and go in to high springs or just go to Walmart. The store needs a serious adjustment.

Forgot an item but nobody tried letting me know.waited 5mins just for someone to come to the register as well. They were in the break room lalegagging amongst eachother.

Bad customer service 100% but everything was in stock and I had no trouble finding anything.

Horrible! Staff is so concerned about closing time and talking about other employees that Expired inventory is sitting on the shelves and being sold to the consumers.

Always good service. Have a new employee Jenn B.who is a very pleasant lady. She is always very helpful when help is needed finding something at store. If she doesn't know the answer she is sure to ask someone who knows the answer. Even with wearing a mask you can tell she's always smiling underneath just by her voice. I have been a customer at this location for years now being so close to home, but since Jenn B.has started seems so much of a happy prescense since she has started. Thanks Jenn B

It's a great little place to find almost anything you need whether you live nearby and don't want to do into town or you're traveling and need to stop for necessities.

This Dollar General is one of the newer DG's in town. It's always clean and well stocked and the staff are friendly.

Usually very crowded and stock carts tend be in the way. Customer service is amazing though.

Dollar general is a dollar general. But this dollar general is one of the best i have been to.

The employees are always courteous and helpful. A lil bit different of a layout than other DG. But I have never had to deal with our of stock issues.

The employees were very helpful and enthusiastic.there was a young girl named Kelsey there and she really did above and beyond to help me.
