Dollar General, St. Petersburg FL

The store is always a mess. Stock carts are always full and in the isles. It's become a shoplifters haven because i see it almost every visit. The employees love to stay on their phones instead of stocking. This store has been a joke for at least a year now if not longer. There's more employee turnover than the local McDonald's. Carts blocking the chip and beer isle. The back paper goods row looks like a stockcar race with all the carts in the row. Why is the ice cream cooler in the back stockroom? Plugged in with product in it? That store's manager is a joke. Not sure how you're losing money on beer and wine, Thats the items i see stolen the most.

Great prices. Friendly cashier. Store unorganized but other than that would continue to shop because of selection/prices.

Store atmosphere is quiet, lots of sales on products and associates were polite and offered assistance.

Meh. It felt poor in here. The registers are very awkwardly placed which makes the line of people stand in the way if the main aisle.

Good food but pricey for a family of 4. We did get the mini sub with a side. It was good. The only bad thing it doesn't include a drink so by the time it was all said and done it cost $43.00. I could have eaten at Sweet tomatoes for that price. I gave it 3 stars because of the higher price. The staff is friendly I just wish they'd include the drink in the price.

Went in to buy those debris mask that keep dust out of your face because they didn't have them at the Publix. Hunted around and them found a pack of 10 for $1. Great deal. Nice employees

Place is always a clutter. Hard to get around the store. The cashier always seems irritated And doesn't have a clue if they do or don't have something. She had me walking around the store looking for something She said they had only to tell me after my search that this dollar General didn't carry it.

I mean it's dollar general. They are always the same. The lines are usually slow and the isles are usually littered with product that's meant to be on the shelf. There are very few that differ from this scenario. It is just how bad is it going to be from store to store. This one was a little on the worse for wear side. The staff are friendly though.

Love this place. Buy all paper products, shampoo, cleaning supplies limited food candy, nice inexpensive home goods here to save a bunch. $ Isle all 1$ awesome. Difficult to find. Ibis easiest way we go to back then to right for Dollar General. Sits between 4th and 9th.

One of the Best Dollar General I've ever been to. This place is clean and very organized! Super impressed!

The cashier was friendly enough but their selection of gift cards has gotten smaller. They no longer carry $50 steam cards. The lady went to look and I told her. I didn't see any you must not sell them unless you have gift cards somewhere else? And she said no and I left a sad panda.they do sell 20 steam cards still.and if you don't know what a steam card is you don't need it lol

The best stop shop 4 all paper products. Name brands much lower prices food, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, (check out $1 Isle) $1 greeting cards, clothing, home goods galore. Bought serving trays $5 beautiful very useful handles and all. Love the garden I have now. I buy $1 garden ornament once a week with my vitiaims.

Convenient but a lot of things are outdated so you have to be careful. Not a true "dollar" store.

My first time in the store. I couldn't tell if they were just opening, going out of business, or if it was always a mess. I found what I needed.so I guess that was good.

I love this store always have good deals and they take coupon and they have very nice home decor items that very reasonable

I dont see a reason going to Dollar General and buying the same stuff, you could buy at any retail store with the same pricing, sometimes even better prices And deals.
Nevertheless, the store was squeaky clean and organized probably coz people dont visit very often.
I would rather go to Dollar Tree which clearly values their Name and sells items at $1 or less.

Long lines at rush hour with one cashier and 3x management and employees said they couldn't or didn't take payments for Florida Blue who they are under contract with. Nice enough cashiers but not managed well.

Love shopping @ $$ General stores, but this one is a mess! Rolling carts loaded with boxes scattered around, blocking aisles & merchandise. Near empty to empty shelves where I was looking. I found myself wanting to help get the place organized. I'll be looking for the next closest $$ Gen & hope it's more like what I'm used to seeing. It's a shame.

Great customer service if you can't find anything just ask one and I'll help you find whatever it is you need you're up to the checkout and quickly checked out and on your way I love this store
