Dollar Tree, Port Charlotte FL

It's a decent place. It was much bigger and more organized than the Dollar Tree I worked at. Though, of course, no store is free from a little sloppiness. Especially with likely not having a full staff, it's the busy season, and you've got customers that just put stuff wherever as well. But they seem to do an admirable job with keeping things stocked. Other reviews mention a Gunnar fellow, but I don't think I've encountered him; everyone else is decently nice or passable.

Hey "Dollar" Tree! We stopped calling them nickel stores when everything stopped being a nickel! Most staff is nice though.

I have never been treated so rudely, Gunner is a horrible excuse for an employee, if this is how low Dollar Tree standards are in hiring people then I will NEVER shop in another one of their stores again. I am so done with all these young rude employees everywhere I go.

Decent selection of items. Cashier Zoey was very patient and helpful with a frustrated customer who was in front of me.

Gunnar the cashier is DISGUSTING! I heard him yell at an elderly woman because she grabbed the separater on the conveyor belt. He yelled to her “LEAVE THAT! ” I’ve lived in Port Charlotte for 2 years. This man has ALWAYS had an attitude whenever my wife and I shop there! Customer courtesy is HORRIBLE!

Better than it used to be, still not great, stripped shelves and what appears to be a bursting back room. Do better

Wonderful bargains here. If you are looking for art supplies they have a nice selection to choose from.

Normally I cut dollar trees slack for the usual issues like cleanliness but this isn't about the store it's about the employee gunnar was extremely disrespectful to me and the gentleman behind me he yanked the item out of my hand sighed and rolled his eyes when he counted out my cash I get it I work customer service but this dudes attitude stinks don't think I'll be going back too this location

Absolutely disgusted with the store and the employees. The store was a mess with stuff all over the floor in almost every aisle, which is a trip and fall hazard. Aside from that and what made me leave the review in the first place was the rude employee who had an attitude because she had to do her job and cash customers out at the register. If you aren’t a people person find a job where you don’t need customer service skills. The manager Jenn was also careless and seems to know nothing of business etiquette. Store needs a total overhaul. But I guess that’s just dollar tree.
