Donovan's Reef Liquor Store & Bar, Panama City Beach FL

Love this place so very much! Has the best bartenders and security. Everyone is having a good time. Karaoke is the best on the beach hands down. You won't regret your visit to this establishment. The prices are great and if you get the pleasure of meeting Chris the owner, you may think he is the security or bar back bc he is always helping his staff and taking care of his customers. There is no favoritism here like some places. Everyone is VIP.

This evening I visited this establishment with family and friends. We were staying at a resort on the beach. Earlier in the night, I used a personal cup for my drink for the evening. After spending about an hour and a half at this establishment, I approached the bar to close my tab. A gentleman was sitting at the bar, drinking beer, and viewing security cameras in the facility. This gentlemen rudely told me "That's not my cup". My response to him was: "I understand, but it's your drink inside the cup". Upon that response, he immediately insisted I leave the bar. As I tried to inform him again that the drink was from this bar, he cared less and told me to leave. Rest assured that we will not be back, nor will we recommend this place to anyone. Pensacola Beach natives coming here for a getaway vacation. I'm sure the other establishments in Panama City Beach will enjoy our patronage:)

One of my fave places to go in PCB. Good people, good atmosphere, bangin drinks, and a great variety of music.

Nice bar lots of room. But we are non-smokers and it was cold out only had one drink and left. Need better ventilation everybody doesn't want to smell like a cigarette. Sorry

Awesome quick alcohol stop, or sit at the bar next door! Awesome. Helpful staff and the store has everything you need!

A lot of fun a little bit crowded maybe some more room but other than that it was really cool

This is a great little find, karaoke every night pool tables and a awesome bartender. Prices are kept reasonable.

Good karaoke! Lots of pool tables. Drinks are a good price. Only downfall is the smoking inside Some of the staff is not very friendly.

I haven't been to Donovan's Reef Liquor on Front Beach Road in Panama city beach, Florida in a long while and I won't be going back there. I didn't know racism really existed until I went to Donovan's with my family, trying to enjoy ourselves and spend some money there. I sent my cousin to the bar to buy drinks and the bartender was very disrespectful and rude to him. So he responded and she called the bouncer to put him out. The bouncer didn't even attempt to hear what took place. He told us that he called his boss and the boss said it is the bartender's decision. I don't think it's fair to spend your money trying to have a good time and get disrespect and disappointment instead.

Friendly staff, was able to quickly get drinks. Karaoke was fun, lots of pool tables, but only downfall was they do smoke inside. We were able to sit outside and hear the music, but would have loved to have been able to also enjoy a game of pool.

Used to be the place to go for an affordable drink
Not anymore their draft beer is the same price as upper class locations charge for iced down bottle beer
They're one of the oldest on the beach so it doesn't have to be this way

It was fun but we might of had to much fun. My wife was missing a few hundred dollars and her hyatt hotel key the next day. She was hammered. I dont know if she dropped it or someone grabbed it out of her purse when she went to the bathroom. Live and learn.

This bar is for the locals. They HATE tourist. I went for my bachelorette party and the bartender Tiffany was super nice, but she warned me that when the bouncer arrived hours later that he would probably kick us out. The second he showed up he was shooting us dirty looks. Not less than a half hour later I was walking to the bathroom and he just started yelling at me and accusing me of starting stuff in his bar. I just stood there baffled asking what I did and he walked up on me and started body bumping me towards the door and yelling in my face telling me to get out. We went to bars at pier park the rest of the trip and had a fabulous time. Don’t waste your time at Donovan’s.

Not very organized. Not a lot of cold drink options. The inside wasmt kept very clean etc.
The cashier was friendly.
