Maintenance was poor, bathtub is clogging, no hot water, there were cockroaches, didn’t expect this from hilton

This is a repulsive hotel. Check-in was quick and easy but in the room there was a spider web bigger than Charlottes Web behind the lamp. The room reeked but we were tired and only going to be there for a few hours. We checked out at 10am the following morning and find out the next day that a front desk named Sean had charged our credit card because he took it upon himself to check us back into the hotel after being told by a guest that there was luggage in the room. Nothing was left in the room and had been cleaned by housekeeping. And this guy decided on his own that he would check us back in after we’d been gone for almost 10 hrs! If luggage had been left, why wouldn’t you contact the customer to notify them of such, instead of charging my credit card without any sort of authorization and not contacting me until after he had did so. Saying he made a mistake because there was actually no luggage left. The staff is extremely under trained and definitely are not following the procedures of the Hilton Brand.

Filthy place. Five out of eight light bulbs burned out in room. Carpet covered with food and sunflower seeds. Human stains on couch cushions. Manager would never come to room or call me on phone. Worst experience ever. I am a gold member and this doesn't meet any standard for a Hilton Property.

Very nice location. The breakfast was very lackluster. One of the most upsetting Hilton Breakfasts that I have had.

DON’T STAY ROACHES AND MOLD! I have never stayed at a Doubletree property like this. I originally checked in at one in morning I was exhausted. When I opened the door of my room I noticed a mildew smell but I was so sleepy I just turned on the air on and got some rest. I wake up too realize that room smells so strongly of mildew it’s hard to breathe. This property has a roach problem and a mold problem. I stayed in room 169 and the carpet was filthy. The smell of mold was so strong I had to turn on the air on high. I saw two roaches in the breakfast area and I killed three in my room. I highly advise you stay somewhere else.

I do not recommend staying here. I found hair in the bed that was clearly not mine, two pillow cases were put on inside out and didn’t seem clean, the bathroom floor was sticky, there was dust all over the surfaces in the room, and the hallway smelled like cigarettes. The pillows completely deflate when you put your head on them. I would’ve been better off with no pillows at all. I was right next to an entrance and could hear people coming in and out all night. $123 for one night was not worth it.

This was the worst hotel visit I’ve ever had in my entire life. My girlfriend and I get to the hotel, check out our room, and a few hours later we have OTHER HOTEL GUESTS TRYING TO GET INTO OUR ROOM. All because the employees didn’t do their jobs, and didn’t properly put our names under the room. It was extremely dangerous and unprofessional. Anyone could’ve been trying to get into a room that we paid for. And to top all of it off, we were shrugged off like we were the problem. This place is a joke. Go literally anywhere else.

Our car broke down out of state and we stayed here for 3 days. Every hotel staff member we came in contact with at the hotel were so friendly. The young man who worked the front desk everyday was so nice and considerate, asking us about our vehicle when we’d see him. The hotel is close to many restaurants and places to shop, many within walking distance.

Fantastic service from front desk and the bar. Hotel is a bit worn for a, Doubletree. Still was a great stay.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel. Our room was incredibly dirty and gross. There was only one lamp in the room, so very dim as well. Mold on the ceiling, rust, grime and dust everywhere. Carpet and floor were both sticky. Outside and common areas of hotel are nice and location is good but rooms are gross.

The saving grace to this hotel is the location right off the highway.

I'm a Hilton diamond member so i stay at A LOT of Hilton hotels.

I usually stay 2 times at a location before reviewing.

The safety & security of hotel guests are compromised at this hotel;
a) there's a door (on the steak & shake side) that stays ajar even if you push it, it pops back open and anyone off the street can walk right into hotel, major liability will be contacting corporate about it as i stayed here months ago and mentioned it to management and they claimed to be unaware and it would be fixed.b) there are mold splotches all over the bathroom ceiling (room 139)

The front desk attendant was unpleasant, acted as if it was a chore to answer questions and do the job the company is paying her to do.

The construction noise was obnoxious from 7am on

The hallways are hot and musty.

Initially we thought the place was nice, but our room was disgusting. Carpet was badly in need of replacement, one of the bulbs was burned out, hairs everywhere. I was trying so hard to avoid all the dirtiness and grime but it was hard to get out of my mind. They cut so many corners, it’s a little alarming. Multiple mold spots in bathroom. There was also a horrendous stench in the halls from food that was just rotting by ice machine. Not worth your money to stay here

The room in this hotel was terribly nasty. We saw two roaches within the first 20 minutes, there were ugly stains on the sofa and on the floor, and the toilet tissue had not been replenished (and no extra rolls in the room).

The room was unclean, items left from the previous guest in the fridge, mold smell throughout and also stains from water damage in the room. Also, no hairdryer and the bathroom was poorly cleaned. Unfortunately as a diamond member this was the worst Hilton hotel I have ever stayed in. Complaint made and awaiting response

The whole place is just dark and dingy rooms are pretty gross, don't dare hit the carpet barefoot i made that mistake instant regret. Though would be diferent experience it being labeled double tree but don't be fooled its not up to parr. Smells moldy, AC never dropped temperature and it's January 2nd i 60 degrees outside, i can just imagine summer months. And mini fridge wasn't working.

With checking in and speaking to 3 different people for an hour to get into a room after driving well over 20 hours I was exhausted…mind you I called a head of time to make reservations…I finally get to my room and my room wouldn’t unlock, maintenance guy was near by and he him self couldn’t get in then noticed that the room was propped opened…as if someone knew that the door wasn’t working…spent a half hour with maintenance saying it was a battery issue…tried multiple batteries and apparently all were dead…finally I gave in and asked for a different room…walked my not so happy self down to the front desk to speak to them about a different room…smh got into this new room…I was set with one towel and one wash cloth with a half roll of toilet paper…room was musky smelling…but I was at my limits so I decided to deal. I’ve never in my life experienced anything near what I’ve experienced here…and I do a lot of traveling and stay at doubles all the time…today I am checking out but wanted to see about a later check out normally I can check out at one not and issue and considering the inconvenience checking in I figured they would be happy to…definitely not…called front desk for over a half hour trying to even ask…she definitely wasn’t pleasant…name will be added later…no late check outs for me and no more staying with double tree!

Absolutely ridiculous policy! A friend had to stay due to a relative being in the hospital. I offered to pay for her room. I had to submit a credit card authorization completely filled out and then was told I had to send a picture of my ID and my credit card in order for my friend to be allowed to stay. The check in person claims that they have to make photocopies of everyone’s ID’s and credit cards so the night auditor can “verify” them. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous! I will never stay at nor recommend another Hilton Hotel chain property ever and I will be warning everyone I know of the potential identity theft that could take place.

I stayed here for 5 days, I asked for housekeeping service when I checked in. I never received it. I called the front desk to request it multiple times and still never received it. Ran out of clean towels and soap. The hallways had multiple big dead roaches. Upon checking out I expressed my unhappiness and the front desk apologized and said they would give me some Hilton points. They never did. I called corporate who said they would contact them, but still never gave me the points. I would avoid this hotel there are many alternatives who would appreciate your business.
