DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay, Miami FL

Stayed here for a weekend & was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. This hotel has cockroaches! So many of them were in our room. They switched our room to another one where the AC wasn’t working. Kept asking for someone to come fix it and no one ever came. Got switched again to another room. Stayed there Thursday to Sunday and got switched 3 times to rooms that were all filthy. This is completely unacceptable especially during covid times u would think that cleanliness is taken seriously but I guess not. All I was offered for the inconvenience was 50% off 1 night. The staff didn’t seem to care when I complained. My family stayed at the same hotel and they also had issues with their rooms and were moved around as well. Avoid the hassle and don’t stay here. This hotel shouldn’t be in business.

Everything was fine, but Hiltons new Food and Beverage credit has frustrated me to the hilt. You now have breakfast, and have a $20 or more difference too pay. Bring back free breakfast!

We stayed here for birthday weekend. The hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. The hotel was super clean and the staff was really accommodating to every need we had. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely book again with this location next time I visit Miami.

Be careful, do not let them put you on the side that smells awful. The odor was so bad that we had to ask for Clorox to clean with. BUT they did end up moving us to a new room that was Great.

Wasn't aware of the 4 guest, 2 children policy untill we rolled up with our wives for by friends 50th bithday weekend. Why would anyone want a 3 bedroom just to be suspected to 4guests? I totally understand and should have read the fine print but both the host and the front desk should have made that clear. I would have gladly taken my business elsewhere. Front desk was very polite in explaining and though the valet takes forever, those qpare some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. They remembered my name each time.

I actually wouldn't come back based on hotel's restrictive policies but would gladly return for professionalism.

We had balcony view of the bay and the boats docked there. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. The Hotel did not seem to be very busy, which meant we receive very good customer service from Primos, the coffee shop, the cigar bar, and the deli. Our stay was very relaxing. Would stay there again.

A hotel stuck in the 80s, with many issues. Our room in September 2021 had an AC that was not working, a hair dryer that started smoking when just turned on, and hot water that was barely warm. I would stay away, as the place is overpriced for what you get.

The parking valet didn’t turn off my car and left it on. My car didn’t start when they were trying to bring me the car. There so quick to get cars not pay attention. I had to wait an hour to jumpstart my car and bring up to me. Didn’t like the valet experience

Ideal location for a pre-cruise stay. Panoramic views from bayfront balcony rooms, a quiet, relaxing pool area and walking distance to some very good restaurants. Great hotel to begin your vacation!

Best place to stay. You are treated like VIP. Services are quick and great customer service all around.

We visited the hotel for Labor day weekend and was initially impressed with the location and outside appearance, as we expected. Unfortunately the inside corridors leading into the guests rooms were not up to the standards of previous Hilton brands we had visited in other cities. We had to change our room due to blood stains on the bed that appeared to have been dabbed with a liquid in an attempt to clean as it looked to have a damp ring around the area, acknowledging that housekeeping or someone had noticed it but only attempted to wipe it out instead of taking time to completely change the linens. Neither room.the one initially given at check in nor the one we settled for afterwards.had a strip nor sticker across the toilet or bathroom assuring that it had been cleaned and sanitized. Fortunately we always have Lysol on hand when in Hotels but we went out and actually purchased a second can in this instance. Overall it was vexing to be in the midst of a Pandemic and the Hotel's cleanliness was subpar. There was a sanitizing hand wipe stand setup adjacent to the lobby elevators that someone had apparently used to vomit into, it had remained there in that condition for the duration of the day Saturday from what I witnessed, after that I only concerned myself with getting into and out of my room and out to retrieve my vehicle from Valet. The hotel is in a great location and as I said.inviting from the entrance through the lobby areas but the interior guest corridors are sketch. There was also a Police presence outside on the street throughout the day directly in front of the hotel with lights flashing constantly, in which is great but also makes you ponder what is the environment like around the hotel. Given the great location it still isn't enticing enough to warrant another stay for me. Just my experience.

Super clean with everything you need right in the hotel. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. We had dinner at Casablanca and it was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Room was okay. I would recommend this hotel based off of the staff though, they are excellent. There are great food options as well. Also, you can pretty much get anything you need at the shops below.

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday August 29th 2021, the customer service is wonderful, we had a corner double with a balcony overlooking the bay, it was wonderful.

The hotel in and of itself was fine. The food at the restaurants left a lot to be desired. Primo s was ok food but slow service. The Chinese restaurant was 8 levels below food truck quality but 8 times the cost. Stay away.
