Not a Hilton level at all. It's a expensive 1 star hotel. Have to pay $20 to get room service same day or request it 24 hrs advanced. Ridiculous!

Mandatory paid parking? No complimentary breakfast? $4 coffee? One tiny shampoo bottle for 4 guests? Unclean sheets? The most unreliable shuttle to the universal park? Broken toilet?

Didn't expect this level of service from an established brand, but if a bad experience is what you want then step right up.

It was amazing more than I expected. Pool hot tub, restaurants, bakery, bar, Beautiful scenery. Amazing customer service. Be and spacious rooms. Just 5 stars all around. Will be back.

Employees were super nice but the hotel was trash. The floor I stayed on smelled like straight weed. My key cards would never work for the parking. The food was a 1 out of 5. Just way over priced for what you are actually getting. Won't be staying here again.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway in Orlando. We were really impressed with this hotel! Many of the resort amenities without the resort fee. We especially enjoyed the HUGE hot tub and heated pool. The bar and grill was chaotic, a bit understaffed, and mediocre in quality, but we needed a drink and something to eat after our flight-and they provided! Room was clean and in good shape, location is great! For the price we would certainly return.

After traveling all day you cannot wait to get into your room and relax before trying to make your reservations for dinner. We'll not here. The room was not ready. Waited an hour, still not ready with no explanation, or no apology. The staff really could not care any less and then said maybe after dinner it will be ready. "MAYBE?
This is why you always stay on Disney property. I will never stay here again nor would I ever recommend this place.

Positives include: the pool and hot tub, the cleanliness of the room, the yummy breakfast, and the cost of the room.
Negatives: the Starbucks and the poolside bar were closed, although the website indicated that they were both open. The hours of the American Grill restaurant located inside the hotel did not match the hours indicated on the information/ menu. It said they opened at 12: 30pm, but they didn't open until 4: 00pm. A simple sign showing the hours would have been helpful.

Tried to make reservation over phone last night. According to front desk clerk although rooms available had to be transferred to reservations and after being placed on hold for 20 mins without anyone answering i just hung. I called desk clerk back she said she is unable to book herself. Shame on this pitiful company! Waste

Me and my fiancé picked this hotel since it is across the street from Universal Studios and we could just walk everyday to avoid a rental car and the excessive amount to park daily here but MY MY MY was that a horrible idea! Next time we visit Orlando, we will be investing in something way better and in a much cleaner area. First, the area where the hotel is located is near the highway which makes the area look really ran down. The room smelled so bad like the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in years. It smelled like wet towels or something. The room was also dirty but clean to the surface and was also out dated. The elevators are SUPER old and slow so if you have to be somewhere, you should leave your room at least 20 minutes early. Also, we arrived and had to wait 3 hours in the lobby for the room that was NOT worth waiting for. It resembles a upscale motel or an upscale but ran down extended stay. The only thing we enjoyed was the sitting area outside with the fire pit and fountain, the pool, and being away from the rooms at the parks. This is our first and last stay here! Please save your money and stay somewhere better! I understand it’s convenient for the parks but trust me, it’s not how the pictures look!

Although the hotels outer appearance was nice, the rooms was basic, house keeping staff was rude to me when I asked for linens. The front desk staff was pleasant along with the luggage people at the information desk. As far as this being “ entrance to universal hotel” NOT TRUE. This hotel is no where near universals entrance as a matter of fact it’s about a 10 min drive and 30 min walk. That is the only reason I picked this hotel and for the marketing team to lead the people on like that is simply not being truthful and false advertisement. Breakfast is NOT free, but the food is good and worth the money. I will be coming back to universal in a few months and sadly will not be coming to stay here.

This hotel was nice until the toilet stopped up and nobody came and fixed it until the next day and it kept stopping up after that. The water turned colors and so much noise don’t go here

My family and I had a WONDERFUL experience at the Double Tree by Hilton (Entrance to Universal Studios). I have stayed at dozen of hotels but this one was by far on the top of the list of “Best stays/experiences ever”The staff (Valet Definitely included) was very hospitable and there for every need for myself and my family. Thank you again Double Tree by Hilton! ️

Spent all day driving and enjoying universal studios, open to close with a 2 hr drive. We get to our room. With the COVID sticker on the door, saying this room has been sanitized for your safety. To find the last tenants’ USED soap, shampoo and conditioner still in shower! How did it get fully sterilized for my protection, when the used and hair covered hygiene products are still in the shower. I’m cool, very understanding so I go down to the desk. Explain the situation, to the young lady that checked us in, very discreetly so as not to alert other guests milling about. She assured us she was going to speak with a manager and have the situation resolved and addressed. We let her know we were going to dinner and they could remove the used soaps and clean the tub while we are gone. We go to dinner for about two hours and return back to the room. Upon returning to the room I noticed a brown paper bag on the foot of one of the beds. I thought it was odd so when I looked inside it was a handful of soaps, shampoos, and conditioner. That made me go check the bathroom because I found the little bag odd. Sure enough the used products were still sitting in the tub. By now it is 11pm, I’m tired, and have to get up early for another full day at an amusement park. My wife was still downstairs getting a treat from the sweet shop. I was forced to take it upon myself to touch and discard the used products during a pandemic. When my wife came back and I let her know what happened she was furious. She immediately returned to the front desk and had to explain the situation to another clerk. He agreed that should have never happened and was not addressed properly. As it was so late there would be no one to do any cleaning (which we didn’t want someone in our room at 11pm while we are trying to relax and bed down to get up early the next morning anyhow). He advised moving to another room and comped our parking. So here we are a midnight, unpacked for the second time in less than 3 hours and I feel the need to share this experience. I expected much better from Hilton.

My wife and I had a bad experience from the start. We waited 3 hours to receive our room (from 4 to 7 PM). Once we got a room we spoke the the manager because we were furious. He was able to make the situation better for us. We are currently on day 3 of 4 and we have enjoyed this experience overall. The staff is very friendly. We will return.
