DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Deerfield Beach - Boca Raton

This DoubleTree is in the Deerfield area. Very Resemble prices I was there Monday night till Thursday morning. The rooms were very clean beds were comfortable. Friendly staff willing to help. And the restaurant downstairs has an excellent breakfast selection. And the food is good. They do serve dinner but I did not eat there for dinner. I did use their fitness room which was also very clean had a couple of treadmills, stationary bikes, and elliptical. They also had free weights and one cable machine. Would definitely stay here the next time I come to Deerfield again.

I like the hotel as it is a walking distance to where I needed to be in an entire week. I have been to many double tree hotels but this one need to upgrade a lot of stuff as you can really feel that it is been there and not been up to the standard.

The most disgusting experience in my whole life, my eyes could not believe what they were looking at, the amount of negligence by housekeeping has no words, how can they go with making the perfect bed in top of a super stained sheet, right in the middle, there is no way the person that did the bed did not see the huge blood stain and the pee on the side, I can understand many things but this, NO. At least

Checked in, sleeping, nice place, was enjoying my stay until.attempted breaking and entering from adjacent room. Wake up at 1 AM to door lock of room sharing door jiggling and messed with. Then the phone starts to ring, it's them, he says, "Hello?
Hello? Are you making noise in there? " Then some loud banging on that adjacent door, sounded like a chair or hammer! Called front desk, tell her she should call the Police, as I'm kinda trapped, but I'll be ok until someone comes. I hear them at the adjacent sharing door and outside, so I am kinda trapped. It calms down for about 10 minutes. She comes up- I'm checking my peep hole while watching the room sharing door behind me- she stops, listens, and walks away, not even listening for 10 seconds (I have it recorded) and high tails it out of there. Turns out there were 4 guys in that room and she didn't feel safe- probably should've called the Police. They admitted to being rowdy and making noise. I wait for silence, looking through the Peep.

Make a dash to front deak, ask her, "Hey, I saw you, I was filming and watching out. Why did you leave? " She says she felt unsafe, vs 4 of them- I understand. I asked if she was gonna call the cops, she said "No, I called them, said they were loud and they would stop, would you like to move rooms? ", I declined, you want to keep thugs and criminals Hilton? You can keep them, this boring guy just wanted some sleep, never again. Also love that she was shaken, but instead of the 2 of us getting out of there together, she just left me in my room cornered. Bit shaken up, I just wanted out of that place. So left at 2: 30 AM.

But thanks for the experience Hilton. I couldn't imagine if it wasn't me (FL CWP holder- and it shook me up being cornered) but a Mother and child, or an older couple or someone with no means of defense. Hilton's response? "Oh, sorry for the stuff horror movies and nightmares are made of, they're still here.but, would you like a nicer room? "

I gave it 4 stars, because the main driveway is being remodeled and it’s relatively inconvenient.

Currently undergoing some reconstruction, but that certainly did not lose me because of the service. Aside from breakfast not being honored as being included, my stay here was great! Would recommend to anyone looking in the area for a place to stay that isn’t too over the top, but is very comfortable and inviting. It took a lot of stress away staying at this location!

My room was in the perfect location — 6 floors up at the end of a hallway — quiet and away from the elevator or other rooms. The only thing was that no matter the air setting, as the day warmed up, the room warmed up. The air could not keep up. Check in was a breeze as I reserved through the 1-800 number a room with with check-in that completed before my arrival. Parking was a pain particularly since I arrived after 11: 00 pm that night. The first lot was full. I ended up parking in a spot that was not a parking space for the night and again another night when torrential rains came down one night. I was there for Sleuthfest which brought in a large amount of people. There is an additional lot on the side of the hotel but I didn’t discover it until the last day. Also, whether it is open late at night is questionable so it would not have been a good option for checking in. During construction, the front entrance of the hotel has been moved and the street entrance for that has also moved. There’s a sign which at night can be hard to spot marking the driveway.

Not enough lighting in the room is our only complaint.staff is excellent as well as room service.

The hotel is incredibly run down and not nice at all. I read through reviews before booking and I am convinced all the good reviews are fake. I am attaching photos so you can get an idea of what this hotel really looks like. Carpets are stained, furniture is damaged and dirty. Also, we booked a room with two queen beds but they are definitely fulls. So disappointed I wasted points and money here.

Room and staff service are great, although the room coffe machine did not have any cups for the whole stay.
They replaced the breakfast buffet with axpensive for pay breakfast.
Guests are my biggest complaint: both nights we stayed here, we were woken up at 2am by roudy "neighbors". Hotel must put "quiet hours notices" for lack of common sense customers and must enforce them.

Spent a week at various hotels in Florida on vacation. This was easily our best experience. Victoria at the front desk made our stay very memorable and we appreciate her for that. The rooms were clean as could be, hotel was awesome and the hot tub was lovely. Thank you

Hotel is filthy, towels and sheets not clean well. Smells terrible everywhere and encountered the tall old white racist man from the front desk. Terrible place we spent so much on this place from the first day we wanted to leave. Go somewhere else.

Marvel at the front desk is AMAZING! She had to escort me to my room after a key issue. She was the sweetest and came back and knocked to make sure I was OK. She brought ice cream and was the best conversation when I was at the downstairs bar. The staff with her addition is 100%. Would visit just to see her and Howie in the bar area again.

The worst double tree hotel from Hilton we've ever been to. They probably don't have vacuums since our room carpet was filthy, dirty and the pieces of dirt were visible.
They also probably do not have king size bed sheets, since our king size bed had a queen size sheet on it that kept coming out.
The hotel lobby smells like mold.
Just a terrible stay.

I thought the reception was bad.
Upon arrival at the hotel, my husband and I discovered that there was no reservation under our name. And, the officials couldn't find her. And we didn't notice any pro-activity on the part of people in solving the problem. And, that day it wasn't just our case, but others were passing by and there were people waiting at the reception of this hotel. I found the hotel too dark. There was no light in reception itself.
Need to improve service a lot. Improve problem solving. Customer satisfaction. And environment.

We left there and went to another hotel. Which, by the way, gave us an excellent reception.
