DoubleTree Resort & Spa by Hilton Hotel Ocean Point - North Miami Beach

Think twice before staying at this hotel. From the check in to the check out we experienced horrible service. We had several rooms booked for a family gathering and one of my family members was forced to stay at another location. In addition, our rooms were not ready by check in and there was only one person at the front desk that was helpful The only good part about our stay were the two bartenders Diane at the pool bar and Daniel at the lobby bar. They were very nice and provided great service. If you are looking for a hassle free hotel this is not the one to book, the elevators were super slow, and the check in process was horrible. My mother has also worked for a Hilton for over 35 years, and this is by far the worst hotel service we have ever experienced.

Location, location, location! Rooms are huge but outdated, staff is friendly and managers are always around asking you if you need anything. Only problem was no spa, and no one seemed to know when it will reopen.

We had a great time at this hotel, everyone was very nice and very friendly here, specially Maher Abdel from security was very nice person who was care about all people who stayed in their hotel. I'm very appreciated for everything.

They were pretty good location. You can access it right away from the beach.
I was a bit upset with the employee at the front desk. She was very rude whenever I asked thru the phone or directly to her.
I am not sure because of her English or not.anyway, even when I asked to find my Amazon package, she said she couldn't find my name on the list (there was my name on the other page) and asked me if the delivery was right. (delivery time, or location.however, everything was right.) She even talked to another employee after telling me to stop talking! The hotel was very noisy during the day due to construction, but she did not apologize about anything, saying that there would be noise in any room so they can't change my room only that reason (but it was impossible to talk each other at the room because of noise) and that their construction would be done properly without any notice.
The other employees were pretty good, especially the employees at the entrance of the beach.
Also, they don't have any spa.so if you are willing to do it, check other place.

Beach front hotel that’s the better part of this place rooms are no that clean stained carpets Moldy bathrooms cloudy pool but good location staff is nice and there is no much choice about food frozen drinks are garbage and overpriced overal we had fun because resort is beach front and we had ocean view room with a balcony that was nice to have but if you looking the 5 star Hilton feel this is not your place to go was nice to have a full kitchen with a full fridge

Clean spacious rooms perfect for that family trip! Elianna at the front desk rocks! There’s a resort fee of $25 per night but that includes 2 chairs at the beach which is usually $40!

The worst and most expensive experience of our life! Waiting all year for a vacation, we hired one of the biggest apartments, which we could enjoy at all. I'm uploading some photos of the ones I have and videos of the disgust it produced in us, not just the dirt that the curtains were pure grease, a jacuzzi full of fungus and the entire apartment full of cockroaches, although they came to disinfect it, obviously it was not enough, we could not open the cupboard because of how they came out, we left everything outside and we had to wash every time we wanted to use a glass, we had to buy towels (see the photos because), we paid the last day and they told us that a Mr. Federico (apparently in charge of the place was going to communicate with us) to date nothing. On the other hand, with what we pay per day, it says it includes resort free…. They only give you two lounge chairs, if you want a third, 20 dollars and an umbrella 24 (per day more) a shame. There was never anything like this for us, you guys evaluate if we were able to rest…. See some photos (I have more if you need) what @Doble Tree Resot &spa should do to repair the discomfort we experienced…. I'll wait for a prompt response.

This hotel front desk employees are extremely rude and unfriendly. They treated Latin folks better than Hilton diamond member. What is the point of getting Hilton diamond member when we are trashed by these employees. Terrible! Will never stay here again.

I gave the room three stars because upon entry the walls were scuffed so badly. The two-bedroom suite was perfect for our Fathers day party. The oceans views made up for all that. P.s valet ONLY parking.

Good Sunny Isles hotel, right on the beach. Across the street, major shopping and dining complex. Pool, bar, restaurant. 24 stories high.

We travel several times a year and we love coming back to this hotel. Everyone is so welcoming, George (the front desk manager) was amazing before we arrived, during our stay and when we were checking out. I called before arriving and he was able to provide guidance, during my stay I had a special request and he helped us out and then as we were checking out he stepped up again and provided assistance! Thank you George!

Reserveda king size bed and was given thin beds. The toilets have no pressure. Rooms look like from the eighties. No happy hour, but the bartender is excellent and fiendly.

We are currently staying at the resort and SPA. While it has been a decent experience so far, there have been a few misses. Just to alert potential vacationers, the SPA part of the resort and SPA is closed. The salon is as well. Your experience depends completely on who assists you. Some of the staff have been so wonderful and kind, while others have been rather put off when asked for assistance. The last time we stayed at this resort, the spa was open but the restaurants were closed. We called ahead of time to make sure the restaurants were open and assured that everything was open now…. Nobody mentioned the spa and salon being closed. You won’t have a bad time if you stay here, but you will probably be disappointed at some point with either the amenities, staff, or both. The lady at the front desk was amazing for us. I’m about to butcher her name it was Adiya. Our whole stay was awesome and exactly what we needed.

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay at this resort and hotel. The location is truly amazing, and the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Our experience with MAX at the front desk was outstanding. He assisted us with the check-in process and even went above and beyond by upgrading our room. MAX is truly skilled in customer service and has a deep understanding of our needs and preferences. We were incredibly impressed with his professionalism and dedication. This experience has left us with high hopes for this establishment and we highly recommend it. 5 Star to MAX.

The hotel and location is perfect. When I checked in they gave me a wrong room, which they fixed immediately. During my stay I called the front desk for soap and shampoo which never came and we ended up across the street at walgreens. During my stay I was putside playing with the kids and someone dropped a knife from a balcony from the 19th floor and the font desk ignored even thou it almost hit my kids.

Staff made numerous mistakes when it came to check in and room assignment. Not apologetic about inconvenience nor took responsibility for their level of disorganization. Initially, upon arrival no acknowledgement of guests waiting in line and attend to other guests who approached the desk without waiting like others. I was checked into the wrong room and had to ask to have room changed to match reservation. Other guests were assigned room we were checked into and provided keys which allowed them to enter our room not knowing that it was already occupied. My room key stopped working and I was locked out of my room. Had to mention this to staff at front desk and they stated that they needed all my information again in order to provide me a new key. Well since all my things were in the room I was locked out of they sent a gentleman from security up with me otherwise I couldn’t access room I had been staying in all day. Very troubling situation that would make any guest feel uneasy. With a sick baby in hand the staff working the front desk were not empathetic and were not genuinely apologetic. The least they could have done was take responsibility for all this which was a problem clearly poorly resolved on their end. Customer service is lacking quality. I have never had a situation of this sort at any hotel I have stayed. Staff is not hospitable.

Sunny Isles Beach is very nice. The high rise skyline is incredible. North Collins is a very busy road and the area is densely populated. You can walk or catch a bus right out front, but walking back across the draw bridge isn't great. The ride to and from the airport is fairly long, especially in traffic. The rooms here are large. The suite is like a big one bedroom condo. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer are super convenient. The balcony has amazing views. Both the living room and bedroom have sliders to the balcony. Staff is friendly. You can lounge at the pool or head down to the beach. Not a bad value.

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming to the hotel. The amenities were in good quality, and the location on the beach was excellent.

I do want to give a shout-out to the concierge/desk clerk, Max who was there on Friday night May 26 to welcome us. The enthusiasm, friendliness, and accommodation of us and our requests was above and beyond. My partner was blown away and I myself was extremely pleased with the room and service.

In addition, the wait staff and beach staff all followed the same values. There was not a single unpleasant experience.

The stay overall could not have been any better. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

We enjoyed the spacious room with kitchen. My favorite part was the large balcony to relax on. We had a partial ocean view on the south side and our patio/balcony was in the shade all day.
Only 1 of 3 elevators were operational, which was annoying.
