Downtown House of Pizza, Fort Myers FL

I moved from NYC to Cape Coral in April and have been hunting for a decent pizza since.i have found it here in Ft. Myers It rivals a Brooklyn pizza. Ahhhhhhhh The pizza Gods have finally smiled on us!

Very confusing to pay here. Two of the cashiers don't accept contactless payments, the other three do. To the owners: please put payment terminals in front of all your POS systems. People don't want to hand their cards over to pay.

Favorite pizza in all of Ft Myers, the crust, the sauce, and all the spices make for an excellent pizza.

Great pizzas and cannolis. They have other desserts also, but the cannolis are fresh and soo good. I have never had any of the others.

They have daily lunch specials that end at 2: 00 pm. Outside seating in the courtyard, inside seating at the window ledge if it's a small group or bring the family and enjoy the tables.

Excellent pizza with quick service. There's 0 reason to choose a chain pizza if DHOP is an option for you.

Best pizza we have found in Ft. Myers. The Spinach Floretine is my fave, especially the garlic oil. Great delivery - always friendly.

Great pizza, horrible staff.

Been getting pizza here for years and its always excellent. Went there last night 11/5/2021 at 6: 30pm and again the pizza was very good and the old building has great charm.

However, the young man preparing the slices was about as rude as they come. He would not speak two words, no hello, no what can I help you with, would not answer a single question about which slice was which, would not say anything. When your pizza comes out of the oven, he would throw it on a plate on the counter leaving it to the customers to sort out who ordered. His lack of customer service skills created a great deal of confusion when ordering and picking up your order not to mention leaving me asking myself why I should come back.

More than one table was openly talking about this young man and his horrible attitude. This is the first person you have contact with when you enter the establishment and he is about as poor a representative for you as you can get.

I left a four star review based only on the pizza and building. I will give DHOP one more chance but if the attitude is the same, I will get pizza some place else.

The best thin crust pizza in town! I've been here when it's busy, slow, lunch and late at night. The pizza is always delicious. A tasty well cooked crust and lots of cheese. Their salads are generous and fresh.
You won't be disappointed:)

Great pizza, nice indoor/outdoor setting. Some employees can be a little sarcastic so not so nice all the time.

Stopped in for dinner! I am not sure why it has taken me so long to write a review here! Great pies, decent prices, amazing service! Looking for a quick inexpensive bite from good people? Come here! Their desserts are solid too! We had the caprese pizza xl! My girlfriend had her first canoli here and the look of glee on her face from the first bite.a true delight!

Always great pizza in the staff is very very nice it'll take you five minutes to get a great slice.

What can I say about DHOP, except that it is hands down the best pizza that I have had here in Florida. I'm from New York and was starting to get disappointed in the pizza down here. That was until I found this place. This is the closest thing you can get to New York style pizza. I would definitely recommend this pizza parlor to all who love pizza.

I got a white pizza this time. It is not usually my favorite but, this was good. Add marinara sauce, for dipping, and you have something good!

This is hands down the best Pizza place around! We've been going there for years and they just get better! Employees are great!

Absolutely love this place! Was very impressed with the gluten free vegan tomato basil pizza.so happy i found another great food option to accommodate my needs!
