Dr. Allen C. Tafel, M.D., Fort Myers FL

Dr. Tafel is an excellent physician. I found him to be thorough, patient, caring and I had complete trust in his plan of care for my issue. His office is well run, and the staff is also very caring.

I have been going to Dr. Taffel for many many years. He is very caring and knowledgeable. I like the fact that he’s from Fort Myers too. He has helped my back where other doctors could not. I highly recommend him.

I am an ex-patient of Dr Allen Tafel back in the early part of 2000 he is the most generous very well knowledgeable pain management doctor and I highly recommend him especially in giving Cervical injections I only stopped going to him because of the insurance plan and now that I have an insurance that his office accept I am definitely trying to get back under his care this doctor is definitely highly recommended I give him a 10. When dealing with pain issues that needs injections or other care it is not easy going under other physician's care that you're not familiar with not saying that they're not capable but I felt comfortable with this doctor his knowledge and as I said his given of injections.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Tafel for many years. He has always been there to listen and do the right procedures for managing his pain. We are very confident in Dr. Tafel and his staff is very accomadating and helpful.

Real professionalism at its best, my life changed in 2018 where my doctor Allen Tafel along with his amazing PA and team of outstanding nurses, Sam, felishia, prada, Pam to name a few, let’s just say that I’m still able to make a baby thanks to every one in that office from the receptionist that greet you with a smile to the xray team, to the exiting team as you get ready to leave every time I have had the honor to be blessed with a great experience with my pain management team for life. Dr. Tafel was, as in my past visits to him, efficient, knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. I could not hope for anything more.

Dr. Tafel takes time to explain your x-rays & follows up with further testing & medication if he feels need to promote relief & healing.

My appt with Dr. Tafel was good. He listen intently while I described my back pain, asked pertinent questions based on that and the new test results, then explained the next steps to take.

I only saw Dr. Tafel once for about 2 minutes, every time I had appointments with him I ended up seeing the the physician assistant. After X-ray, MRI and injections they haven't given me a diagnosis and my pain keeps getting worse, never got an explanation of my condition, causes, things to avoid. The whole placed is over crowded, like a factory, no help at all. I am going to look for another doctor.

Dr. Tafel is great, very congenial and pleasant.

Doctor Tafel was pleasant to speak with. Made me feel at ease. Asked relevant questions and did a thorough examination of my back. Doctor discussed what he saw on x-rays and gave me a suggested treatment path. Told me to see him in six weeks but if the pain had gone to cancel the appointment.

Excellent experience. Both Dr. Tafel and his assistant were excellent! They both had a professional and caring bedside manner. Dr. Tafel was fully attentive and took the time to communicated clearly and answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Tafel and his staff.

I came into this practice today in perhaps the greatest pain I’ve ever been in before.
The practice was totally organized. I was taken when I should have been and the staff was kind, helpful and understanding.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Tafel and his staff. I was told I needed some other test before getting a shot and that shots were only given on Wednesday. The test would be given in about a week. Not being able to withstand this pain for another week, I behaved very adult like for an 80 year old woman. I cried, but I could not control it because of the pain and the thought I’d have to live another week like this. Katie got Dr Tafel and he arranged his time to give me a shot today.

Excellent service. Waited less than 15 minutes to have x-rays done and then saw the nurse who was great. After that I met with Dr. Tafel's Assistant. She should really become a Dr. Friendly, asked me a lot of questions, answered all my questions, examined me and reviewed everything with me again. Only met Dr. Tafel briefly since his Assistant was excellent. Always pleased with the service I receive here. Clean, friendly staff always pleased with the outcome.

Dr. Tafel on December 30,2020 totally took care of administering my Injections using Dexmethasome 1mg, four injections in my painful Lower Back two in each area. I spent a total of a month with horrific pain. He is an Excellent Doctor and his staff is Awesome, Addison, MA, Michael MA, Reanna, RTCR, front desk staff Briana and Heather. One hour behind schedule. The practice doesn't care and makes all patients wait too long every appointment. Nothing ever changes. Dr. Tafel is a nice guy but he doesn't care either
