1 I just had my first appointment with Dr. Chamberlain, and she really knows her stuff! Even something you'd never think to ask a doctor, such as the history of a medication and how it became the leading RX, she asks for and values your opinion in your treatment plan, which is an issue I've run into in the past.
One thing I will say is that if you're looking for a doctor who will stop and chit chat about the mundane, Dr. Chamberlain is not for you. She is focused on you and your treatment plan. I wasn't sure how I felt about this halfway through the appointment, but I then came to appreciate the lack of distraction.
She brought up halfway through my appointment that I had mentioned I wasn't working at the moment. I didn't even remember saying that! She's listening to you, but she's also filing through her brain to find the best course of action for you. Picture it almost like a rolodex!
However, if you're looking for a knowledgeable doctor who is solely focused on finding you the best treatment plan, then I recommend booking an appointment.
